  1. I'm 7 months post op. I have lost 75 pounds so far with no complications and had my 5th fill last week. I was eating lunch today and made the mistake of trying to eat croutons...big mistake. I felt it getting stuck and immediately went to the bathroom. I started " slimimg" and was able to get up a little food mostly mucus without excessive force but now I feel a little sore, not sure if I'm just being paranoid. Should I be worried??

  3. I can't believe it has only been 2 weeks, I've lost 20 pounds since starting my preop diet. Im just now starting to get an appetize but I get full after a couple of bites of soup...guess I'm still a little swollen. My port stitch still gets sore sometimes but overall I'm excited about my journey. I get my first fill on August 2nd!! Hope everyone is having a good post op journey as well as I am!!

    14 Hours Post-Op

I wa banded on July 2nd, I'm not really having any pain but I have noticed that whenever I drink any liquids that I get this pressure in my stomach like there is an air bubble trying to pass thru my band and it gives me a heartburn feeling thst last a few seconds... is this normal from the gas pain??
  6. I just got home, gas pain is a little worse then my incisions but walking is definitely helping. Thanks for all the kind words. Will keep updating!

    Pre Op Hell

I really appreciate all the encouragement! My doctor wants me to take the bariatric advantage protein shakes along with some recipes that allow me to add fruit and oatmeal to the vanilla protein powder. After the 2nd day I don't feel hungry but force myself to drink them anyways. It's more of a mental struggle
  10. Hello. My surgery is July 2nd...I'm on day 4 of my liquid protein shake diet and I'm so sick of drinking them! I can barely get 4 down a day. It wasn't so bad the first few days but now I almost vomit smelling the protein powder! I'm afraid I'm going to cheat, help please!
