That's awesome. We were sleeved same day. I lost 14 pounds pre-op, but only 2 since surgery. I Definately feel better too

Wow I cant believe it 4 more sleeps until the sleeve. My first day on liquids is good so far, i even went to Breakfast and dinner with my musband and friends without any longing for food(does this happen later perhaps). Found that the muscle milk is actually tolerable, Ohyeah Protein drink was gross but i made it through. Yeahhhh

Am 35 and the heaviest I have ever been at 190 lbs. I hate the feeling of my fat rolls(as when in my bras and sitting it hurts/discomfort). About 8 years ago I was fit and a size 2 and even then only wore comfy clothes. I am doing this surgery for several reasons: 1. Feel comfortable in clothes 2. Not having to buy new clothes all the time as I can't squeeze into my current 3. My weight is contributing to my back pain. 4. Feel confident again (I've never been vain and shy away from attention even when I was a size 2, but dislike the way some people treat me compared to when I was small). My weight is a hard thing for me as I'm a very successful person with business/home etc except In regards being in control of my body. I've tried Medications that definately help weight loss but I couldn't function in my business life so I had to discontinue. Well I can't wait as my surgery is August 2012 in Puerto Vallarta. Can't wait for the new me.

Hi Sandy, I am so glad to hear that about Dr.Joya as you stated most here go to Tijuana. He is more expensive then Tijuana but closer and more convenient for me travel wise as my husband and my two stepsons are coming and staying at a resort

Thats great, Im in a very similiar boat. I decided to do this end of May and now Im scheduled for August 17th in Puerto Vallarta.I told my mom and she still makes comments at me that I shoudnt be doing it as im not a 100 lbs overweight(im 70 overweight). She asked me how much it cost and said I was wasting my money. Ive decided not to tell anyone else except my husband ofcourse. Its going to be hard as my husbands sons are accompanying us on the trip but are staying at a different resort than me and we're telling them im on a real estate course out of town until the 6th day. Im hoping they dont catch on, were taking them as its the one sons grad present,I just decided to do this last month and thought why not combine a holiday with the surgery. My husband is very supportive(i was scared to tell him at first). Lisa
