    Kidney Stones

I did experience two kidney stones about 6 weeks out. I have never had so much pain in my life even though the stones were pinhead sized. Mine were calcium based and my dr told me to watch out for dairy products and of course lots of water.

Im My Own Worst Enemy...just Need A Little Kick In The Arse.

WOW! We are in exactly the same situation. I, too, had my surgery on December 19th, and I am also at about 65 lbs. down. I feel the same way you do: I have stretched my stomach out. I still can eat only small portions, but I find myself hungry and wanting to snack between meals. In the past month, I have been stuck at the same weight. I really need to join the healthclub, but it is so expensive where I live. When school is out, I think I will have more time to exercise and maybe I will be so busy doing what I like to do that I won't want snacks. I hate that I can't reassure you because I feel just like you. My daughter had the surgery 10 days after I did, and she is losing much faster or more steadily, but she is also only 27 years. old. We need to help each other!
  3. I was told that your body goes into starvation mode and that is why the weightloss stops at the beginning. Just be patient, and it will start falling off again. I have been stuck at 230 (65lbs down) for about a month now (surgery 12/19/11), and I am getting frustrated too. I need to exercise more but it's the end of the hectic school year...do better in a couple of weeks. As far as not being able to eat much, that too will change after about 6 weeks. I still have very small portions, but I can eat way more that at first. Now I feel like I have to really watch my portions. Salad and raw vegetables are causing me problems, but other than that, I can eat whatever I want.
