Thank you all! I was able to sleep a little probably from sheer exhaustion. I'm not a back sleeper so I'm sore from that too. I haven't spoken to my dr yet because I had literally just left there. I'm gonna give them a call today but I don't think there there since its Saturday. If not ill see how I feel later and wait it out before I go. I think I'm just paranoid. I feel like its because I have a large tummy and its pulling because when I put a hand under It and lift it its less painful. I wish I had a compression garment or something. Thank you everyone who has a dent also! I was worried about that! That's my main source of pain, it makes sense that that is where they cut through the muscle. I guess knowing that it helps me understand why it hurts as much as it does. Gonna take some more tylonol and finish sipping my morning water. Thanks all!

Thanks. I think I'm scared I tore something with all the coughing. I'm gonna wait a little bit but if its still rlly bad by morning ill go back so sad I just want to get a descent nights sleep!

I'm all bruised from the blood thinners also. Funny the incision sites aren't very bruised at all but my arms (where they have my the blood thinners) look like Hell!

I have this too. I feel it contract and then fee like I need to burp then there is a split second of pain. Idk what it is but it's been happening on and off. I think it's gas but maybe it's reflux? Anyone?

So happy to hear there is hope ill be able to have sushi again one day! It's my favorite thing ever. I'm already counting down the months until I can try it!

I'm 5'6. Highest weight (recorded because I'm damn well sure I was pushing 400 at one point) 379. Surgery weight 359. Where ill end to? Well see! Sleeved 3 days ago.

So I just got home from the hospital- surgery on Wednesday. I'm in pain still. It's sore to the max and I have a big dent and it feels kind of like I got stabbed. Ouch. The pain was a lot worse though, and the nausea was the worst part for the first two days. I was so sick I honestly had regrets at first. Not trying to scare anyone but I need to tell it like it is. Today I'm doing a lot better, I'll take the pain over the nausea any day. And it's getting a little better. This will all be worth it soon. George or anyone else who is a little out can I ask a q? I have what feels like tightness in my sleeve. It feels like it contacts and it will hurt for a second and then feel like I need to burp. Is this gas? I'll gas x help? Or is it something else?

I'm home. I didn't have such an easy time. He first two days I was in a lot of pain, and very nauseous. I did have several moments of 'why did i do this to myself?' My nurses were amazing though. I stayed in recovery the first night and didn't get moved to a room until the second day. Feeling much better today. Still in pain, but no no nausea! For all you people that were able to get right up I applaud you! I couldn't really walk around until today the pain was more intense when I stood. It's slowly getting better and better though! I know this will all be worth it soon!

Just want to let everyone know I'm okay! I didn't have wifi at the hospital and my Internet connection wasn't good so I had to wait until I got home. The first two days were rough I'm not gonna lie. I was prepared for it but it still threw me for a bit of a loop. The pain was bad but the nauseous made it worse. Today was a LOT better. No nausea! So I was finally able to start eating and they saw I was okay to go home. The pain is still there but it's just very sore. There's a big dent and that's the most painful spot. The other ones are just tender. I know in a few more days ill be a lot better. That morphing pump was my BFF for a while lol. I was sad when they cut me off. Put me on Tylenol with codine now. I'm not hungry but I think there's trapped air in my sleeve because I keep feeling it contact and it hurts for a second and feel like I need to burp? It's going to take some getting used to lol. Thank you all who showed me support, encouragement, messaged me- it means so much to me! Wanted to check and and let everyone know I'm ok!

Thank you all! I was able to get a bit of sleep- fell into a deep sleep and when my alarm went off I almost didn't want to get up until I remembered what today was lol. Up now about to take a shower with the antibacterial soap the hospital gave me. I'll check in when I can! Thanks SO much everyone for the support!!

Yay congrats! That's amazing! This was so good for me to read right now lol, I'm having surgery tomorrow and I've been starting to freak out a bit over being able to eat normal things ever again but this was great to read! Hope I have similar results
