I was sleeved on 6/11 . My family & I love Indian food & that is mostly what we eat at home . We were fortunate enough to live in a punjabi sector in Africa for 15 yrs & was exposed to wonderful Indian dishes ! This is what I've missed the most since being sleeved . I've had dahl masala , butter chicken , mali kofta , & swordfish tikka masala , & veg samoosa ( without the breading ) , & palak panner . It's all went down smoothly with a couple of tbs of Raitha . I've also had a mango lassi that went down so smooth I just miss my chapati's & naan ! How are you doin on eating so far ? Congrats on your new sleeve !

Hi I'm a GI nurse & recently sleeved ( 6/11 ) . Was it a hiatal hernia repair that was done ?

I had my sleeve the 11th & just went to see my surgeon for my 9-10 day check-up . My drain site started bothering me about 4 days ago . I kept having this stinging -sore type feeling . It was all red & angry & had a lot of yellow discharge . He looked at it said it was completely normal that my body was just wanting it out . I did have it pulled & I never want to go through that feeling or sensation ever again . Just hang tough ...it will be out soon

I think this is a very personal issue . If you don't want to tell you don't have too . I'm thinking my co-workers would much rather me come back 100% than have to leave them in the middle of a shift .

I'm so right there with you ! Im due back at work Monday & I'm a nurse with a full schedule of patients that day . I've already had several co-workers text me & ask me if I'm coming back Monday b/c it's been so crazy . I also work as a nurse educator at my second job & my supervisor from there just called & asked if I could get back by Tuesday ? I just don't see it happening . I see my surgeon tomorrow & I'll see what i can do at that time . I think Mina has some great ideas . I would just tell them adhesions & repairs . I hope we get our energy back soon !
