Anyone know of any fill doctors in the maryland/dc area? Moved to this area in 2008 and really don't want to keep making the trip to NJ to get fills.. Any help would be great thanks!

I had my baby on March 18th. I was completely emptied for my pregnancy because my doctor said that’s what they had too do so that I can get enough nutrition for the baby (I now have heard that they do not have to do that unless its necessary) and gained 52 pounds! I got my fill of 2.5cc right at the 6week mark and really didn’t feel too much of a difference. It’s so hard with my 4 ½ year old and my two month old to go to the gym! I eat pretty badly and getting used to eating the way I did before is harder than I thought it would be. I’m so scared I won’t get back on track with it, especially since I had been at my goal weight for 10 months before getting pregnant. I just made my next appointment to get a little more liquid put in. Hope the restriction helps with the eating! Brenda -banded 4/08

Had the same thing. I had my daughter on March 18th and after I was 20 weeks i started to feel the pain around the port. It does get worse the bigger you get, but a couple of weeks after birth you feel much better. I also had bad shoulder pain mostly from pregnancy gas, it kind of felt like the gas pains you get right after having the band placed, also went away ! Good luck
