Well, I have to be at the hospital at 11:30am. My surgery is scheduled for 1:30pm tomorrow! I'm so excited and nervous. This headache is something else today. I'm glad the lab wasn't an issue.

I hope they don't delay me. The nurse didn't seem to think so when they were taking my blood. She just said that I may have to take higher doses of Iron. I just want to find out what my surgeon says... Fingers Crossed for us!

Worm, My surgery wasn't delayed. I hope it isn't. I just want to find out if they'll postpone it for my levels.

Can surgery be postponed for anemia? My pre op labs just came back and my blood counts are right below normal ranges! I'm a bit disappointed and afraid that they'll cancel my surgery. Isn't this something my pcp should have noticed? any thoughts on this?

Yes, they certainly are scary! Never was a fan of them. Maybe this year I'll be more comfy depending on my loss. A dress for a wedding! That should be fun finding something fresh to wear. I think we're all going to do great!
