    I am soooo sorry you had to go through that - I can't even imagine if they wanted to touch me after surgery last Friday. My understanding from my doctor is that you don't necessarily "feel full" but satisfied. You may want to just check with your doctor. Best of luck to you.

    Well my fellow June Bandsters it has been 1 week today since my surgery. Feeling better every day and able to get more liquids in and even some cottage cheese. HOWEVER; This morning I weighed myself and I had gain 2 pounds from yesterday. What the heck is that all about? So I was down 20 pounds yesterday starting back to pre-op diet. Any ideas?

    Does it feel tight in your esophagus when you are swallowing your food? It feels tight to me, everything goes down.

    I had my surgery Friday the 15th. Two days ago I started getting heartbearn. My chest still feels a little tight. I called the dr yesterday and he said to take my zantac and then lets see in another day. He may need to let some of the saline out, because he puts some in when he does the surgery. I'm now scared.

    Surgery Friday. Is it supposed to hurt when burping? I get this sharo pain my chest feels really tight then just a little air comed out. Just wondering if anyone else has felt this?

    Also when walking I have been moving my arms around like I have little weights in my hands or like I am punching. That seems to realkt help also move the gas around faster.

    My doc put me on south beach vs liquids. Did your doc give you any pre op diet instructions? If not you need to call first thing mon morning.

    Off Topic - I keep trying to change my weight ticker and will not update? Anyone else have that problem? I even deleted and rekeyed it and it still is the same as it was before. Also - does anyone know how to change the surgery information? I can't figure it out. Thanks,

    Thanks Indy! What a great idea! I'm set for tomorrow. I am super excited today. Yesterday I was anxious. Talk about a roller coaster. I am ready to get this done and heal. My family and friends supprt has been amazing. But this site is truly a life saver or insanity saver. LOL.

    Congratulations all the new banders! I am counting down to Friday the 15th. I have EGD done on the 11th for the Hiatal Hernia (to look at it) Pre Op Dr Visit the 12th Surgery the 15th WOO HOO! This website has been a life saver, everytime I think of something I find information here. You guys are awesome! Anyone around North Dallas Area?

    Congrats! I am looking forward to that. My surgery is June 15th. I think Baggy clothes end up hiding the loss, I had lost 40 pounds in 2010 and once I bought some clothes that actually fit - people started noticing.

    Talked to the Dr.'s office yesterday - she thinks it is due to TOM, which started yesterday. This morning I woke up and lost 3 lbs. whew...hopefully more to come.
