There is not a time I can remember that I was not overweight. I can think back on middle school and remember hiding in the corner to change for gym because I was bigger than all the other 10-11 year old girls. I have tried every diet out there and some have shown great results but the weight never stays off. I grew up in a big southern family and every happy memory I have has always happened around a ton of food. Every great food you can think of just waiting to be eaten by me. Both of my parents have weight issues so genetics are not on my side at all. I am short and round and have no wish to be tall and skinny I just want to be healthy. My grandfather passed from a heart attack before I was born and my father had one at 40. He survived but still has weight going against him. I am 27 and do not want to struggle anymore with my weight. I have been researching for months and I am so excited to have choosen the sleeve as my salvation. I can't wait for my life to begin.
