Very Unpleasant Fill - Skill Level?
LouisianaLiLi replied to Kinley7390's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have this same experience, the PA is painless and the surgeon is a brute! -
Mine too, and I'm running the heater!

I say "he", but mostly I refer to it at "b***h". My b***h is tight today, my b***h hates me today, or my b***h is being nice. LOL All I have to say is my b***h better behave when I go to DisneyWorld in December (I DO NOT plan to over eat, but I do plan to enjoy food while I'm there).

Real food and "chewing" will come. You can do it! Thanks. I'm pretty proud of myself. I'm using Scale victories for now, because I'm not having many "clothes victories". I'm still wearing the same clothes from 330 lbs (THey must have been really tight, because most of them are just barely loose). I'm still wearing 24-26W. I even tried to try on a few things smaller, but NO GO. I'm ok though. This too shall pass. That's enough whining. On to smaller and better things...

I agree AJ..it's definitely a lifestyle, because I can't stick to a diet! Full liquids for another 2 weeks...EEEEEEEK! I know I did it, but I have no clue how. It seems like so long ago. YOu'll get back to real food and liquids will be just a brief moment in time! I have lost 50 lbs as of today since surgery. I'm pretty pleased with myself if I do say so. I have never been able to stick with anything to lose 50 lbs, EVER! I don't feel deprived at all. I eat what I want (what my band will let me--he doesn't like rice, or biscuits--What's a southern girl to do?) I work at a University--I'm everybody's mama! LOL I could use some Momma Bear in my life~!

I feel that same way. Don't make me get the "mother bear" out...she will rip you a new one!
-
So I have a question to all of you. Do you eat only 2 oz at a time? I was never told that. I was told 1 cup/meal. (4 oz protein, 4 oz veg, 1 serving of fruit about an hour later) I was also not told caffiene was bad. I was off caffeine for 2 weeks after surgery, but I was given clearance from the doc to have my coffee and tea...heck, that's pretty much all I drink (I can't stand plain water--it's yuck! LOL).

Damn! I just went back and caught up on the WOW you eat that thread...DAMN...there are some crazy b*****s on this forum. And I don't mean that in a good way, like us.

Jumped Several Steps
LouisianaLiLi replied to Sandy Benigar's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I too, agree with what the other bandsters have said. I hope that you did not do any damage to your newly placed band. The stages are set for a reason...it's not to "torment" you. It's for you to heal. I know everyone seems to be a little rough with you, but you were rougher on yourself (endangering yourself) than these ladies have. Please come clean to your Doctor, and get yourself back on the wagon and go forward. -
My hubbs loves both too!

No hunting bunnies....bunnies are our friends. (At least mine is.) He's pink!

I missed something. MGB, where are you telling people off? I need to see that. Send me there!

October Spooktacular Challenge
LouisianaLiLi replied to lisaholland73's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Checking in at 279.6 While I didn't reach my goal for the challenge, I did have a mini victory this morning. I have reached the "50 lb. Mark!" Felt good to acheive at least that goal this month. -
Woooo Hoooo. Field trip!

Thanks ladies, much appreciated. She was never my favorite, but she was still my mom's sister and I would do anything for my mom. My daughter is a pretty good driver, but she follows to close for my taste. Poor car (

Weren't you a cutie!

I'm kinda here. We are travelling out of town this weekend (funeral tomorrow-my aunt). My daughter is driving. I'm being the back seat driver. LOL

Well said CG! You are exactly right. Honestly, sometimes we fall off the wagon, but don't fall off, stay off, and then complain of "failure". If you fall off...GET UP, and GET BACK ON...move on and get back on track. I am also a HUGE fan of "call the Dr. if something doesn't feel right"

Craft show was great. My friend sold a good bit of merchandise. It was fun. This is why I'm hanging out with y'all bad asses!
