I know what you guys mean!i made a video and it took me 10 times to finally make one lol,I kept saying um and losing my words!i have to check out that YouTube channel,I haven't seen it yet,thanks!!

Day 6 of my pre-op liquid diet.going well so far!just hard only having 6 Protein shakes a day,but I can't complain.hardest thing is not being hungry,or the headaches but more that I miss chewy on something salty! So far I'm down 6 pounds.which I'm very happy about:) Surgery in 9 days!!!so surreal.iv been in the process to get the surgery for about 9 months now so im more then ready....a little nervous im not going to have everything I need ready for once I'm home but im sure I'll be fine.anyone else having surg the 25th or around then?!

I can understand why your nervous but just keep in mind why your doing all this:)I know people have flown back after surgery im just not sure how long they waited before doing so....you can do it!you got this:)goodluck!

Hi Denise!congrats to you first off!i didn't even think of lettuce....I'm gonna have to have have a little if I find I'm in dyer need of that crunchy taste!are you excited for the surgery?you have to keep posting and updating!

Yay!i just started my 14 day pre op liquid diet of 6 protein shakes only!first day wasn't terrible,did have a headache most of the day but I'm sure I'll get used to it lol.your going to do great!im going to start a vlog as well on YouTube,we can follow each other!goodluck to you!you got this!

Hey everyone!so I start my two week liquid diet tmrw and im feeling mixed emotions.scared,to let go of food as its been there for me through everything in my life!and yet excited because I know I'm that much closer to my surgery date of July 25th.im also feeling a bit anxious because my patient advocate recently told me to get a more recent letter of consent from my cardiologist!2 weeks before surgery and they just tell me now!my cardiologist claims they don't have me on file for even being there at all...WHAT?!?! Surgeons office should be able to work something out I hope but I hoppe this little bump in the road doesn't mess up my surgery date as this has been a 9 month process for me:/

I know just how you feel!i start my pre-op liquid diet tmrw so the past month I was going crazy,eating everything like It was my last meal!i was so scared,and still am,to let go of food after it being a huge part of my entire life.i didn't think I was going to have enough time to get all my favorite foods in before I started my liquid diet!after eating all day today and feeling like I was going to burst open I shared my concerns with my mom.what am I going to do without food?what if I miss it?what If I can't handle it?ect!but as amazing as food is,feeling healthier and happier I'm sure is a lot more amazing!stay strong and good luck,and just remember your not alone!im feeling the same way and I'm sure others are as well:)you got this!

Hello everyone!my name is Tracey my surgery date is the 25th of this month....I am way to excited but nervous as well!i was wondering If anyone could give me some advice as to what I should have stocked up in my cabinets for when I come home...i read everything doctors gave me and I should be ok but I'm just nervous..this might seem like a stupid question but I feel like im forgetting things or that I'm not as prepared as I could be!maybe just some tips or something?!thanks a bunch!

Nice!your lucky man,I have to do the 2 week liquid diet and I'm not so excited...can't complain though,it's a kick start to a new life.i feel like the 25th is so far!the surgery is all iv got on my mind.it will be here before WE know it though!

Hey girl,don't get discouraged!i have Cigna and they have been nothing but difficult.they said I missed a couple of weigh ins and tried to deny me but I faught it!i hear a lot of stories of Cigna being a pain in the ass but I hear of a lot of people appealing the denial and then getting approved.you got this!!

Hey everyone!so I start my pre-op liquid diet in 10 days and the closer and closer I get to the liquid diet the more scared I get about leaving behind a whole lifetime of food.i feel like I panicked the past week and tried to get in every last fast food restaurant I could think of because I have this fear that I'm going to miss it so much post op.ive been mentally preparing myself to let go of food since I started the journey of getting the sleeve,but the closer I get to the surgery date the more freaked out I get myself about not ever being able to have these foods again!i keep reminding myself to stay focused on the positives but and I am!but I was just wondering if anyone has felt the way I'm feeling lately!thanks for reading:)
