Asking An Embarrassing ???

If I'm correct I believe you would need a 12. When you go to buy them each pack has the sizing chart on the back -

I'm sorry to tell you this but your band does not move at all it is stitched into place. If your band is moving then youve got issues

Sounds like you already know what your problems are now you need to get your head on straight and work with your band. The band is not going to do the work for you. You need to get back to eating right and eating small portions and begin to exercise. Your not a failure you just need to begin again and look at getting a fill.

Today Is 4 Months Post Op

The only advice is to follow protein first and stick to 1 cup or less of food. Don't cheat yourself by eating the same foods that got us in this shape to begin with. I read a lot of I eat what I use to just smaller portions that to me is cheating yourself out of working with your band learn to eat healthier and of course exercise as much as you can. I've only had one fill and have to wait until half way through October for my second. Don't ever give up and take it one day at a time -

Today marks 4 months for me with a weight loss of 66lbs and a total of 28 1/2 inches off my body so far. I've went from a snug 24 to an 18. Although my weight loss has slowed I'm still grateful for every pound I've lost. Yesterday was a non weight goal I met also I was able to get on my husband Harley with him and ride without the issues of being smushed against him and my butt hurting after only a short ride

Hang in there. I would get the X-ray and see if that is the case. I know it's frustrating but try to be patient you'll get there -
I've never heard of it for lapband. I know quite a few people with lapband that has never had the issue. My friend that had dumping with bypass had it for over a year. Now with that said there are foods now that if I eat make me sick to my stomach or even give me diaheria. Many foods will be different

Not Feeling Any Ristriction

As long as you follow your surgeons guidelines you'll be fine. My surgeon said stick with no more then a cup of food at a setting. The band is only a tool and you still have to learn to make right decisions as in quantity and quality of the food you eat. -
I was told not to purée food by my doctor that you should stick to the foods that are generally mushie. He told me when you start pureeing food you think you can eat anything you can purée and there's a reason your on a specific diet.

Clothing shopping is very difficult when you get banded because it is impossible to estimate the size you'll be months down the road. I went from a tight 24 down to an 18 in less then 3 months. As for the cheating you need to realize that the whole idea with the band is to learn how to eat healthier and control your portions and if your not willing to stick to the diet or restrictions of the band then your going to make it hard on yourself later. Just hang in there and follow the doctors rules and my doctor did say if I didn't shrink my liver they wouldn't put the band in
-
Thats funny because I thought I was crazy because my band doesn't like grease either I feel horrible if I eat anything with grease

I believe until you get to the root of the problem through some counseling and understanding things better for you, you are going to make yourself miserable for the rest of your life. You can't go on avoiding food. You need to learn other ways of dealing with your anxieties around food. There is no easy way around it
