hmmm, allowed.. well that im not sure of..lol but I felt fine and had a small cup of soup as well.. no pain

I have every intention of picking off my friends plates haha.. I think it will be fun and just have that small satisfying taste of something and move on.

I had a martini with the girls about 12 days after my surgery..wow did it hit me fast lol I used to brag that I could out drink the boys, now i dont think i could out drink a child. I was a special day , I probably wont be having any more

Noel - I get tired really easy and I seem to keep a Headache. Not at all sure about the headache other than no diet pepsi - no monster mean bean..lol maybe addicted to the caffeine ? I find I am not at all interested in the puree, I just choose to go without. I am mostly drinking 2 weeks out, I had a small bite of a soft fried egg and some soups.. I did spend the day with my sister and best friend and boy was I dead on my feet that ***ht, my stitches were leaking and hurting and i was just drained. So I do think we need as much rest as we feel we need. I am sleeping better than I have ever slept in my entire life and getting up bright and early every morning.. I have been a ***ht owl since birth so that is a major change

Well, I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup - and drained the broth for myself and it was awesome!! added onions, celery, carrots to the broth that i pre cook in some butter - then put the chicken back in after i debone it and what ever pasta you choose

Grats to you girl.. We share the same surgery date I weigh every morning when I wake up and I love it. I have gone from 301 - 288 since July 18th. How are you feeling physically ? I am doing very well getting my Water down and I drink nectar Protein shake, about 8 oz so far per day. I tried pudding but i chest quickly told me no, that isnt gonna work lol I think the pain will keep me in line for sure. Keep up the good work , I will follow your success <3

Good to be home, Day 5, not so bad.. I am craving food and what I would give for an ice cold diet pepsi right now. I wouldn't exactly call it hungry, I just want it in my mouth lol I sure hope to see you all on this soon

I am using lots of pillows, day 3 here post op.. I do slowly but surely end up on my side, but it takes a lot to get there and then dont move. I cant wait to get home to my own bed though.. I will update then

I will check myself before I leave today, but the nausia is really gone for me now, all thought some things just make you wanna barf that you never expected. The gas pain is still present, im walking every floor of this gorgeous hotel looking at the art work, it does help.

@ CBT - i hear Zofran is like a miracle and how i wish i had some with me.. if you can get it, bring it , I was told it is 90 dollars US for 10 tablets here in Tijuana

I just got mine JUly19th , going in for leak test this morning. i put my nasty blue drink in a bag of ice and that definitely helped it go down eaiser I am day 2 and feeling pretty good.. lots of gas pain just as they warned. walk walk walk and liquid liquid liquid.. do not cheat on your pre-op if you can resist, makes the gas worse from what i saw here.
