I don't see the harm. Your back to full liquids and it's Decaf. It would have been fine on my full liquid diet. The skim milk has Protein.< /p>

I think this was the first thanksgiving for a lot of us. I think I have done awe some compared to other years. My acid reflux is out of control. Taking tums , zantac and nexium. I think it's a matter of blowing it for me but eating smaller portions of rich foods like stuffing. My body is used to the same kinds of foods. Tomorrow I need to let my acid relfux heal. Guess I better do some googling. On the positive side down 52.5 pounds and down to a size 12from an 18/20. All amazing journeys have trials. Tonight mine is chewing enough tums. Lol Merry Christmas

You look great! Congrats. You look wonderful in your costume. Keep up the good work!

Zofran is my best friend. My surgeon gave it to me after surgery and my PCP has refilled it for me. I keep it in my purse because you never know when it will hit. It works wonders and doesn't make you tired

I would try to make healthier versions of what you are craving. Tonight my husband and I were at Sam's. We found a kashi pizza. It still has carbs but they are healthy carbs and higher Protein. It was good and I was satisfied with a really small piece. I also made the cauliflower pizza. The recipe is on here.

Jennrus, I'm sorry you felt judged. You are right that this should be an environment where you can discuss feelings and get encouragement. I personally think the feelings and thoughts you have are normal
I think it has more to do with how our view of food has been altered. We now struggle to eat or get enough food in. It is common for food to turn my stomach. So to see people eat after I've eaten my little portion can make me nauseous. Maybe it has less to do with what or how much someone else is eating but more to do with our new reaction to food. I just remind myself in those moments of "disgust " that I am truly blessed with a new life.

I can't tolerate the same Protein Shakes I could right after surgery. They too make me sick. The only one I tolerate is the Premier. I get them from Sam's
No funky after taste. If you can manage to tolerate them they have 30 grams of Protein
Good luck. I hope it gets better for you!

Keep your chin up. What you are feeling is normal. Everyday will get better. Give yourself a break. You just had major surgery. Sip rest and walk. Let your body heal and adjust. You are doing great!

I have had wine. I read a blog by someone on here that talked about cycling between tipsy and sober. This is the way it has been with me also. One minute I might feel tipsy then quickly nothing. I haven't tried anything besides wine. I went through this surgery so I could live and enjoy my life in moderation. Good luck.

It would be convenient but I don't. They have way to many carbs for me. One of my go to lunches is subway. Mine allows me to get a kids sub without the meal. I dump the sandwich and eat it like a mini salad. It's perfect. I did get some of the BariWise ready to eat meals to keep in my desk at work for emergencies. My favorite is the turkey chili.

I pray you have a speedy recovery!

Yep it can be. I had a lot of pain. Hang in there. Every day gets better. Take your pain meds and rest. I promise it gets better quickly!

I have the Bariatric Advantage multi but bought Flintstones today. I can't always stomach the advantage ones. I was thinking about taking 1 advantage in the morning then the Flintstones at night. How many Flintstones are you supposed to take at once? I also take the bariatric advantage Calcium in lemon and chocolate. They are both good. The lemon tastes like starburst.

Congrats! That is a wonderful feeling. You want an added bonus. Combine that feeling with the happiness you feel when you think about not regaining it back. What a blessed journey we are on! Congrats again

I didn't feel restriction until I started eating. Some during pureed but when I started soft I could really feel the restriction. Good luck!

Try the BariWise products from Bariatric Choice. They are like crystal light with Protein. These were the easiest for me in the beginning. They are 60 calories with 15 grams of protein. They have a variety pack I started with. One difference is they aren't as potent as crystal light which is too strong for me and hurts my throat. They also have a great hot chocolate which was soothing.
Why yes - that is my collar bone!
