Less Than 3 Months Out, 40Lbs Lost, Happy Dance!
Ready4success replied to SophieJaneB's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Congratulations! Enjoy your success! -
I've decided to go my first step class in 3 years. I really hope I can at least finish the class. I haven't decided if I'm going to use a step or just do it without. It's still exercise without, right? Anyway, wish me luck!

Suggestions For Dinner Tonight- Pre-Surgery- Need Ideas!
Ready4success replied to rubinsml's topic in Food and Nutrition
You could stop at the deli, and get some low sodium deli meat or a few pieces of rotisserie chicken. They usually have raw or fresh veggies for a side. I eat on the run a lot too. Drinking protein shakes has been a life saver. -

Realistic Monthly Goals For The First 6 Months
Ready4success posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was wondering what is a realistic monthly goal for the first 6 months? I know we shouldn't compare ourselves to others, but I am a person who has to plan and analyze. In the past, working out 5 days a week on a 1500-1800 calorie diet, I would lose 10 pounds a month. Working out 5 days a week on 700-900 calorie diet, is a 15 pound loss a month realistic? I know it's slower if you're close to goal, but I'm nowhere close. Thanks for any answers. -

Keeping Surgery A Secret.....
Ready4success replied to blessedbeauty85's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's funny because I only told the people on my second job, and I only see them on Thurs, Fri, & Saturdays. Every week, they're like, "OMG, you're wasting away!" then they ask how much I've lost for the week, and it's usually like 2 or 3 pounds, they swear it's 10, and that I'm being modest. I think it shows a lot, even with small numbers. -
Yeah, I'm approved for everything except lifting and ab work. It was so much fun! I used the step for about 90% of the class, then I got tired. I'm just coming off of a stall, and I wanted to shake things up a bit, everyone says that it helps. I'll have to see what I feel like tomorrow, because last time I overdid it and had to go back to walking.

Wow!!!! What an inspiration. Keep up the good work. -
So far, I've tried it with pico and salsa. I like it with both. It's funny because out of all the diets I'v been on, I could never make myself eat it. I always had to substitute it, but now I eat it everyday.
