    Cigna Approved Me!

I had Cigna Open Access, so I had 3 total NUT visits required. I don't know if the Cignas are different though.

    New Pics!

You are really rocking that sleeve!!!:-) How much more do you want to lose and when do you think you'll get to goal? Great Job, Seriously!
  5. It's been almost 20 years since I was an undergrad co-ed, but I guess I'm not understanding where you're having a problem. We went to class during the day, and hit the campus gym a few evenings a week, so there shouldn't be a problem there. We drank (ok, I see your point) and partied on the weekends. With the exception of drinking, why do you feel that you're not getting the support you need?

How Long To Take Off Work?

I would say 6 weeks since you're an outside operator. It could probably be half that if you were an inside operator.

A1C Level To High For Surgery

Praying for you. I was taken off of my 2 diabetes meds the day after surgery. I hope you'll have an even better recovery.

    Any Insurance Guru's Out There?

I still had a co-pay also, but I didn't bat an eyelash. That was the best 100 bucks I've ever spent.

    Pre-Op / Post-Op Liquid Diet?

You can make your own broth, just keep it low sodium. You may want some flavoring for your water, or low calorie, low sugar drinks. It sounds like you're pretty prepared, though.

Greek Yogurt Recipes Post Op 1 Week

I put Syntrax nectar into the plain. It gives me 20 grams of protein in one yogurt. Then I can drink one protein shake, instead of 2 (yuck).

    Article About Woman Having Surgery

Is it just me or did it seem like the article was written by someone of limited intelligence, and the commenters had the same limited intelligence? The article lacked insight into how the sleeve is beneficial at helping improve co-morbidities, and not just for "helping her son wrap his arms around her". The article was written by a 3rd grader, and the commenters were classmates.

    The Night B4 :)

Good Luck and a speedy recovery to everyone being sleeved today.
  15. I had this pain 2 days last week too. It was on my post op days 10 & 11. I didn't know what it was, but it sure did hurt. I just thought I was overdoing it.

    Post-Op Initial Workouts

I'm going to be cleared to start exercising this week, so I'm wondering what to start with. I had just started exercising after 3 years prior to surgery, so it's not like I'm returning to a heavy routine. My goal is to "work my tool" to it's full advantage. So...how do I do that?
  17. Just read this response. Sorry, disregard my question.
  18. My surgeon diagnosed my hiatal hernia when he did the EGD, so he was able to fix the hernia when he sleeved me. Your surgeon didn't require an EGD? If he didn't require one, why didn't he see the hernia when he sleeved you?

What Did You Name Your Sleeve?

Like Prince became "TAFKAP" (the artist formerly known as prince) after he became a Jehovah's Witness, my stomach will "TAFKA85%MS" (the anatomy formerly known as 85% of my stomach) after I got sleeved.

    Anyone Go Down This Road?

Good. His recovery would be that much harder if he were. I'm glad he has you for support.
  21. Wow, that looks like more! That's a lot of progress in such a short time. Way to go! What type of exercise routine do you have?

    Vaginal Bleeding

I don't have PCOS and I can set my watch by my cycle, but my cycle came 2 weeks early after Inhad surgery. It sucks, and the cramps were even worse.
