  5. Hi there... I got my first fill 3.0 CC at first an then I couldnt keep water down at the office so he took .5 CC back out and I am doing good. I feel alot more restriction, like I am suppose to. But the one major thing is... I CANT GET MY WATER INTAKE IN!!!! Help PLEASE!!! I dont know if it is because of my fill or what but I can't even manage in a day to get 24oz of liquids... I sip, sip, sip all the time. I cant take more than 3 sips at a time or you can feel it coming up. Do you have any ideas on how to get 60oz of water in a day and tricks any body has noticed? I love water.. the flavor isn't the problem * Food never taste as good as skinny feels*
  6. You know what is sad.. most people post about their first fill and how scared they are and nervous about if it is going to hurt or not being able to find the port. I am scared the step on that big metal plate and see the numbers appear on the scale. I think that is the worse part of the journey. I know that I have lost a lot of inches... I am just so worried with the increase in my appetite and no fill right now, that I have gained weight and that is the last thing that I want to see. I know we say don’t worry about the number but it is so hard. I just want to see those digits drop! I can't lie though as much as I am worried about the numbers I still am a little nervous about the felling of the needle. But, it is what it is. I am so excited to have some restriction going back because I don’t have much now. Can’t wait for that GREEN ZONE!!!!! Hope everyone is having a great day! *food NEVER TASTE AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS*
  7. I am almost 6 weeks out. I have not had any problems and I am on solids. I was fine yesterday with eating, and then this moring I had a scrambled egg and it went down fine. I was at lunch and I have a hamburger patty and took one bite, I chewed it really really well... and I felt like it was going to come back up, well.... it did. This is the first time I could not get something down. I have eaten hamburges pattys before with no problem. I meat was really juicy and tender was not dry. I am going to get a little grafic here because I am worried and not sure what I should do. When it came back up it was like pink slime with a little tiny tiny pieces of meat maybe... I did not exam it too much because I was freaking out. This weekend I was swimming and horse playing with family and friends. Do you think I was just stuck? Or could this be something more of an is... would the pink color be possible light blood? Did the meat just not settle with me? I was not really hungry to beging with but needed something because of my work hourse? I need help please? Should I go to the ER and make sure it has not slipped? Any advice would be great. Thank you sooo much!

  9. Well I am new to all of this. New to blogging and banding! I am now... 30 days post surgery. I am doing ok... I am at the stage where I have not had a fill but am noticing I am hungry more often. I am not sure if it is just me freaking out or this is the way it is suppose to be... I kind of though you wouldn’t feel the hunger like I did my first 2 weekish after surgery. I hope this feeling I felt the first two weeks comes back. I like not being hungry. Not that I am eating much when I do eat still mostly puree foods and liquids some soft solids... but I just am want that feeling back. I am so excited I have gotten the lap-bad and know I am going to do GREAT! I have start exercising even jogging around the park at my house. I weighted in on surgery date May 1, 2012 at 320.3 lbs post surgery at the doctors on May 11, 2012 I was 306.3 lbs... I hope on my first fill I hit the 300lbs mark! I am young and I knew this was the choice for me... I felt I had to do this. I had too many health problems so young. I was going to die just like my father at 42 years old, I was past the half way mark at 23 years old... I knew I wanted to out live him and that is what made my final choice to take the hard step towards a new me. I wish everyone the best of luck with their journey! We are already stronger than most becasue we took the FIRST step! Nice to meet yall, Danielle
