This is pure speculation, but I think it's because the sucking action churns the liquid and mixes air into it. If this is the case then straws would be avoided to minimize air in the tomach. -

Hmmm, migh be the powder you have doesn't mix well, most of us that mix extra protein into stuff are using whey protein isolate (a milk based protein rather than a plant based)

If you make good money & the only debt you have is a car payment I would pay off the car ASAP, sell it to pay for surgery then buy a really cheap car to replace it. Then I would save up to get a nicer car with cash. I don't advocate debt, it wreaks havoc on your finances, much like the extra weight does to your body.

Yup, cravings can be pretty bad the first couple weeks, be strong, it gets a lot easier very soon. My craving was Five Guys burgers. Now they're building one in my town, and it doesn't even bother me.

Anything with alcohol is going to be bad for you, so moderation is the trick, vodka os no exception, the big trick w/vodka is watching what you mix it with. O.J & cranberry areboth pretty sugary.

G2 isn't exactly sugar free, as it does contain sucralose, but it is a lot better than regular Gatorade. I drink a 32oz bottle of it a couple times a week, also Wal-Nart has is in dry single serving form each packet makes a 20oz bottle (I just mix it into a 700ml outlet water)

I do have a question now that I think of it, you said that your sleeve was made too big the first time, was there some of the elastic portion of the stomach left in your old sleeve? I'm thinking this could have been the culprit in the dilation you mentioned. -
