If it were gout it wouldn't be just at night. When I had my gout attack my feet swelled up so bad I couldn't walk for almost 2 weeks. Gout is a build up of uric acid that crystallizes in the joints, most often the big toe. It is excruciating

You definitely need to be aware of what Protein you are consuming & the quality. There are Proteins being marketed that provide no benefit to humans. Protein supplements are not regulated by the FDA so it is a buyer beware scenario. Soy is not an ideal protein as it does not contain the full spectrum of amino acids utilized by the human body. That being said, as long as it is not your primary source of protein you are perfectly fine using it for some of your protein. Also soy contains estrogen which can throw your bodies chemical balance off if you consume too much.

When I started dropping I had the worst attack of my life. But I took some uric acid cleanse and once it was over me feet have felt better than they have in years.

I drank about 1/2 of a Dr. Pepper about 6 weeks post op. Didn't have any problems, but i drank it slow & found really didn't care for it anymore.

I don't know about headaches. I've never had one (really never). Head hunger is when your mind keeps telling you you need to eat and that you're hungry when you really aren't. Kinda like intense cravings.

Yes, hemp is totally different than whey. Whey is derived from milk, whereas hemp is a plant. HP isn't soluble like whey is. It gets suspended in whatever it is mixed in. My favorite way to drink it is mixed into a 50/50 mixture of mango pure & Water. But that's still sweet.
