Sleeved Nov. 6th 2012 Been using these 6oz toddler bowls as my normal plates, work great for visual referance. Pic is of my half eaten dinner... My normal breakfast is 1 scrambled egg w/ 1 slice of turkey bacon. Normal lunch is a heathy choice meal, (those are usually 9-10.5 oz, normally cant finish them all) Dinner varies...

I can relate to this one. After 2 painful sessions (non consecutive of coarse) of throwing up and/or sliming after eating rice i gave it up. -
Is it possible to start stalling in first 2 weeks? Concerned
AaronRene14 replied to Joy0125's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yep. From surgery to 1 week appointment i went down 29 lbs. however from the 1 wk to the 1 month appointment i only lost .5 lb... not even a pound. I was crushed after learning of the failure (in my eyes) until my nut reminded me that its okay because I was experimenting with what i could pass etc. -
Congrats! How far out are ya?

One of the peeps at the hospital took mine off at my 1 week. Hurt like hell.

Didn't go. Started drinking normal Water, symptoms died down. Between normal water and some gatoraide its pretty much gone away, fell like it could of just been the propel. Definitely will go in if it comes back. -

I've been very light headed today, if I sit down for more then a few min, after getting up my ears get this weird sensation kinda like getting warm or it kinda feels like Fluid in my head is going from the very top to the rest of my head... (think surfacing in a pool), I am also temporarily sissy upon getting up. I've been good about liquids I feel like I'm very hydrated, forgot my Multivitamin but took it now, I haven't met my goal for Protein yet, and kinda have failed to meet it for a few days, I'm wondering if it can be that? (don't fall too short, but occasionally do fall a bit short) I'm not sure what it is or what it can be but I've been feeling it all day anyone have an idea? I did search but results weren't too good. -

Thanks, the reason i think it is because my NUT said that any liquid can be counted as oz's towards your Water goal as long as it does not contain caffine... and one of the things this propel is advertising is energy... though i have not seen caffine mentioned anywhere on the bottle. sent for some normal water bottles, going to start drinking normal water and see if it can be that... i will feel so stupid if it is. as for the sliming, its mostly my fault, my nut says i can have some (insert type of food here) and i take it as i can have a whole serving of that even when my nut specifically said i would most likely not be able to finish 1/4 of a serving... tortillas for example, i tried to have a small quesadilla yesterday, when my nut told me i probly wouldnt be able to finish 1/4 of a tortilla, again the sliming is mostly my fault for trying to advance sooner then i should -

Just got off the phone with the doctor, they would like me to go down to the ER to get some blood drawn, bp checked etc. however, i just thought, could this be from drinking propel zero Water? i ran out of plain water bottles 2 days ago and so almost all of my water intake has been from the propel water... can it be that simple? -
a few minutes, i can finish most of a waterbottle (16.9 oz) in about 10ish min

lots and LOTS and then even more lots of chewing... its pretty chewy like, not one of those rough ones, and was about 1.3 oz. to be honest, it had more protein and was a hell of a lot easier then the scrambled egg i had. in my understaning, sliming is from eating too much or something getting stuck, you start creating slime to try and get it down, could be as simple as that or in my case, wanting to vommit but cant, lots of burping, intensifying that want to vommit, feeling something stuck... not a good feeling, though sometimes like the first time it happened to me it wasnt too bad just slimey mouth... Thanks. i'll most likely look into an immediate care center if my surgeon dosen't get back to me soon. also i do have people at home that can help me -

Called my surgeon today, waiting on a call back, so far today i doubled up my daily Multivitamin (just in case), ive gotten almost 2 Water bottles in so far as well as some sonny D (for sugar), started the morning with a Protein bar to make sure to get some protein in (also had an egg today) which has (Protein Bar not the egg) 15& DV of Iron as well as Biotin... symptoms remain the same, however tunnel vision can be added. May be worth mentioning that pre-surgery i was on a 50,000 unit Vitamin d vitamin from my gp... discontinued because of surgery, but ive never had these symptoms before so im still unsure what it could be. Could this at all be a result of a leak? i did slime 3 times last night (trying new foods, kinda pushed my limits trying to gauge where im at exactly). again, im unsure of anything, just not sure what it is and definitely not liking this. Lastly, i currently do not have a way to check my bp at home. other then occasionally being a tad on the high side, ive never had bp issues. -

Not trying to double post, but my iPad isn't letting me multi quote. I'm sorry that that happened to you for so long after, was it a priority with you and your doctor or did they just tell you that your okay and sweep it under the rug? Reason I ask is because this is a problem for me, and I cannot go back to work like this, things like this gets people hurt in my work, I got so much time off because I need to be back at 115% -

No more pain meds, been off for like 3ish days (possible more, not likely any less) Also probly worth mentioning, Ive been very good with fluids, about 3 Water bottles today + juice + other misc liquids, so I should be past my 64 oz for the day. Ate a bit of Salk in the case that it could be bp, ima sip som juice in the case that it's sugar, just drank about 6 oz of water... -

Not diabetic, and I have drank alteast 6oz of non diluted orange juice today, not sure if that'll help in either the b12 and/or low sugar department. Not sure if it's worth mentioning or just a coincidence but I'm starting to get very tired (normal sleep time is around 2 am) and kinda cold/chills they are tolerable tho, it's probly just cold in my place Also I do not take any kind of blood pressure med. -

It will get much better trust me. I was in hell during my hospital stay, it took about 2-3 days to go from regretful to confident, today (1 week out) I'm almost ecstatic and ready to gloat... You'll get there just take your time. Yes you need to prevent dehydration, but remember your recovering so don't force it. Also remember listen to your body before you listen to any of us, I'll tell you better then we can just gonna find out what your signals are. -

Yep. Take your time. The day after I was given 1 oz every hr... Don't go any faster then that for today. Gas is gonna be a normal thing, get some gas x strips, they come highly recommended Around here and wile for me they don't work miracles they do provide some relief. Can't really comment on the heart burn. Sorry. -

Doing much better. Back still hurts a bit, but pain is mostly gone on my puncture sites, though they did pull off the sani strips today's at my doctors appointment which did hurt some. Other then that (and being a bit tired) I'm nearly back to 100%? I wanna add that I was moved to soft foods stage today and kinda pushed it on my first meal which did result in some discomfort and a bit of what I guess is slime-ing but it didn't last more then half an hr... Lesson learned and much needed. Also learned I lost 29 lbs post op which brings my total to 72lbs total...
