First- congrats on your weight loss. I've been stuck at 97lbs for three weeks and I also can't get to a 100lb weight loss goal. It worries be because I still have 35-40lbs until I reach goal.i will be 8 months out next week, and I am not positive that I'll make it to that goal by next month either. I'm doing all the right things but the loss has been non-existent during this period of time. Hang in there and I'll the same.

I wish the op well. I'm happy you didn't suffer in silence and you're brave enough to seek advice. Being able to eat that much this early out is a sign that something may not have been done properly with you surgeon. Seek a new doctor to review your case and a therapist to find out why you are mentally sabotaging yourself. Good luck to you. -

I had a catheter after surgery which was removed the next morning by a female nursing student under the direction of a senior nurse. Note to self- Don't have major surgery at a teaching hospital.

I went to an annual post-op gala hosted by the bariatric medical group, who addressed the change in bmi requirements. Some candidates are being approved at a bmi as low as 29 based on medical occasions.
