Ahhh...I see what you mean. When is your next fill?
-
that's what I'm trying to do now, and have been doing the last year. It's not working anymore. If I wasn't banded, and did any diet, I know I'd gain it all back and more, like I've always done, but *I* think now, anything I lost on a diet would stay lost. You would definitely know better than I....maybe cc&Y would kick start you losing again. but OMG - look at your losses in a year! That is amazing and are you surprised that you have hit a plateau?

I agree with Donna - just looked at your ticker moved again.....woo hoo!

he wanted us to visit the clinic anytime as he valued his clients and said the waiting room is a great place to gather info and converse with other lapsters.Absolutely! When I was there for when I met him, I arrived an hour earlier because of the time change and a problem with our calendars at work.
It was fortuitious though, because I got to talk to a number of other patients at different stages and it was great. I felt even more confident after that.

Thanks for posting that - who is Chris Henderson?

At TLBC I met hiim the day that I booked my surgery - which was a week after my consult. I really wanted some extra time to think about it and they were fine with that. When I called back that I wanted to book they also made an appointment for me with Dr. Yau at the same time. I really liked him and felt very confident (although he does look 15).
Good luck with your decision.

Will you take your cut in cottage cheese & yogurt?Andrew
Are you out of your mind??? I honestly don't think I will be able to either of them after my surgery :faint:

Hey Mandi, what about doing just small portions of a balanced diet. I am doing the dreaded cc&y diet now and if I were not going to be banded, I am sure that I would gain it all back in a very short time - and not by overeating. I guess if you want to do a dramtic lose in a few days it would work, but be careful of any bounce back.

Hi Leslielee. How are you doing? I recognize that the last month is probably the toughest because you are so close yet so far! I was very anxious to get started! Less than 2 weeks for me now.
Keep smiling LL!

Day 4 begins. Last night was a little rough and I was hungry. I ended up having a yogurt before bed because I felt so empty. Down another 3 lbs this morning. I know that will slow soon, but it's fun while it lasts.
Pre-op appointment and tests at the hospital today. 1 1/2 hours to get there by TTC. I know I should not complain given that so many people travel much greater distances to have their procedure. Okay I will shut up and read my book!

That is a great achievement! Congrats.

Hang out with us Mr. Y- we will keep you company. You guys are the most adorable couple.

I haven't been banded yet - but in my case I am not a big soda drinker at all. Hoever, I have been drinking lots of diet soda now before my surgery. I am on a pre op diet and I find it helps to fill me up. (must be the gas)!

Doddie - have you contacted Kathy Palermo? I emailed her yesterday and received a response within 10 minutes.

Just started Day 3 and tis morning I was done 6.5 lbs.! My pants don't feel as tight as they did last week, so I am happy.

LMAO!! The two of you are the next Laurel & Hardy! Except both of you will be Laurel...or Hardy.... which ever the skiiny guy is!
-
You too! This morning when I got got on the scale was down 6.8 lbs since Monday! I will only take my true weight next Monday though. I am liking the results!
Susan
p.s. are you having technical troubles with the changes to the forum?
-
I am really having some techincal difficulties since you changed... something (?) yesterday. I cannot go to specific forums ie. Canada from my home computer - it says the web page is not available; and at work, each time I post it tells me that I am no longer connected and have to start all over. The post is getting through though.
Frustrating!

Pre op day two under my belt. It was strange because I hardly ate yeterday, I was not really hungry.
As each day passes I am getting more confident that I can do this.

Hi MAndi,
I agree with Yoda that you have to get rid of the red belt - it is out of touch with the rest of the dress. Get a button for it to see how that little keyhole opening looks. I would wear the funky dotted shoes with it - not too much.
I also really like the seond dress. Not old lady but classy lady. It reallu suits you. I would get a lovely necklace and earrings to go with and one of those killer bras that make cleavage pop. You will look to die for!!!
ENjoy and let us know what you did.

Yoda I totally agree. The reason I trying to reach Nisrine was to confirm receipt of a large cheque from me...so naturally....especially without any food to calm me :cry , I became concerned.
I am no longer worried or concerned. I am sure that all will go well.
I'd like to have her job! (Aren't I awful)!!! Bad, bad girl!!!

Kathy Palermo assured me that all was well and business as usual at the clinic. I encourage you to call her or Maral for reassurance just as I did.

Here I am eating.....cottage cheese! SURPRISE!!!
Actually my surprise is finding out that I have to stay overnight at the hospital for my surgery. That sucks. Big time.
Except for that piece of news, it was a wonderful experience at my pre-admission at Scarborough Grace. Had my blood work, EKG and chest X Ray done and met with a nurse and anesthesiologist. Everyone was so nice and supportive, wishing me luck and giving me confidence. Wow - less than 2 weeks now!!!!!
