Everyone is so different. A lot of people throw up because they eat to fast or to big of a bite. Or didnt chew good enough. I am almost 6 months out from gastric bypass and have done real well. You will be able to drink more eventually. Good luck to you all!!

I will promise you that it is the best life change. You feel in charge and gain self confidence as the scale goes down. I had GBP in Dec. And I have lost 80 pounds so far. I feel so much better. Go for it so you can enjoy life!

You are going to have stahls . IRS normal. Give your body time to adjust.

Oh wow. Tummy tuck to? That would be awesome. I wonder if my doctor can do that. We knew I had one before surgery, but now that the fat is gone, its huge.

I had bypass in December and now that I have lost 60 pounds I can see that I have a hernia. Has anyone had to have surgery for this and can tell me about your experience?

Push through it will be so worth it. You are going to love taking less or no meds. And dropping those pounds feels awesome. I promise it will all be worth it. Good luck! -
For pre-ops who have heard RNY horror stories...
Khuff replied to Debbiebydesign's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
There is going to be horror stories with any procedure. When I got my surgery I was so scared and thought I was going to die during it. It was not bad at all. I was up walking the next morning. I would have been the first night but had a catheter in. I barely used any meds. I have lost 65 pounds and am loving life. Push forward....good luck! -
You are going to be a new person and you will love it. It is a long road and not easy but so worth it. Good luck!!

Couple questions from the rny vets

I agree, it is your decision. There are going to be people with complications. Its a big surgery. But the quality of life after wards is the best. I am very happy with mine. It isn't easy, you do have to work at it. Good luck! -
Penny, I was so scared I wanted to back out. But honestly, it really wasn't that bad. The worst part was the gas. And walking helped that. I really felt stupid after I freaked out so much. You will do fine.
