Looking For High Protein Shots
bwalker6880 replied to shortypants's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I drink one of the Protein To Go shots (chocolate) every day, but after reading these comments I'm going to have to research more thoroughly! -
How often do you go? Since surgery, I've been going once every three days or so. Is this normal? (sleeved 3/1) Thanks!!

I'm 3 months post-op and am finding that many of my meals contain very little protein. Fruits and veggies are so much easier for me to eat, and dense, protein-packed foods make me feel nauseated. I'm getting my protein by shakes and shots instead of foods. I know that my dr wants me to be cutting back on the shakes, but why does it matter? If I'm staying within my calorie range and eating healthy foods, does it matter how I get the protein?

Flavored Waters - Buying In Bulk?
bwalker6880 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Drinking Vitamin Water Zero or Sobe Waters make it so much easier to get my 64 ounces of water in per day, but they're so expensive! Does anyone buy in bulk online for their drinks? (Not specific to those two brands). I'm going broke here. -

Protein To Go! Expensive on their website but sometimes you can find them 50% off on Groupon. -
Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and am excited to meet you all. I had my VSG surgery on March 1st (3 months) and have a question for the seasoned bariatric members: how many meals a day do you eat? I find that I'm eating about 3-4 meals per day, but am worried that 4 is too much as far as long term weight management goes. Granted, they're small (<200) calorie meals for the most part, but I often get nauseated if I only have 3 meals. Thoughts? Thanks!
