Anyone on insulin and on the protein shakes has it affected your sugar levels. Do anyone know if its OK to blend up fruit in protein shakes

Is there anyone that's on insulin here my question is how did you control your blood sugars to make sure they didn't go to low and can you blend up fruit in those protein shakes

I am preparing myself for the pre op diet tomorrow today eating my goodbye meal for now I know this journey is just beginning and I am so ready to take it. I am praying for all sleevers not only October but everyone who decided to take control of their life that we all be successful on our journey and the opportunity to be fit and healthy I will be looking forward to seeing everyone on the loser/healthy bench.

I also have the countdown on my phone my date is Oct 17 listening to you about losing weight already will make drinking the protein shakes bearable.

I know you are right Italiangirl I must make sure I have will power b/c in the end I will win.

Hello fellow Oct sleevers I am so ready to start this new chapter in my life, but I must admit I'm so nervous for this pre op diet starting Monday I really hope I am able to do this I really don't want to mess it up.

My surgery date is 21 days out and I already can't sleep be I'm so excited and anxious can someone give me some tips on what you are doing to get a good night sleep if you are sleeping. I'm nervous, excited and anxious this combo is making it difficult to get some good rest I go to bed tired and wake up tired please someone help me.

I started this journey March 29 it seems it's taking so long for me to get the final appointment. I have done all the test they require and the doctors office is saying they don't have them yet I can just scream right now I am so ready to join the sleeve world. Does anyone else have this problem?

I got a call today from the nurse and she said my A1C level was extremely high and the doctor will not do the surgery if it's higher than a 7 well I am. Diabetic and have been on pills and recently have been out on insulin the reason I really want the surgery is b/c of this disease can anyone relate to this problem not being able to have surgery b/c of A1C level. This has been a long 6 months and now it still is not at the end I'm praying he still will do the surgery I really need this.

I just left my pre op class signing all consent forms and letting me know what all I have to do my pre op diet starts Oct 1 wow this is becoming so real to me Oct 17 will be here b4 I know it looking forward to seeing everyone on the loser/healthy bench. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.

Well that's good heat I am so looking forward to getting healthy and losing this unwanted weight. Well I have the pre op class tomorrow night what does that intel if you don't mind me asking

That's one thing I am scared about my pre op diet all liquids I just love to chew will we be able to chew gum while in this pre op diet I really hope so; starting mine on Monday when I start it I will really know that surgery is closer than ever.

Yes every time I log on I go on here and I see my name under 10/17 I just put the biggest smile on my face so happy it's not just me that is so happy and looking forward to this life change.
