With just a couple of weeks left it looks like I wont make my goal. That said, I finally have restriction in my band and the weight is starting to come off again. Name........................ When the band is placed it is "Deflated" I have just had my 4th fill and finally have decent restriction. You will hear people refer to "Bandster Hell" that is the period of time between getting the band and getting good restriction from the band. Weigh and measure your food, Watch the calorie intake, and it will get easier.

Second fill, I'm going in for my 4th on Tuesday! On another note, My blood pressure was 116 over 60!!! No more blood pressure meds for me!

I do the Flintstones as well, Every morning I open the jar and pass them around to all the kiddies as well. Although, My oldest daughter has been telling me about "gumi" type vitamins for adults. Anyone tried them?

I think I have 7cc in a 14cc band, I haven't had any problems with the food I eat so I feel fortunate about that. no slime or getting stuck. I am sure I could eat more than I am but I am usually not getting hungry between meals and most of the time I am a good boy and don't snack. I still have a month and while I don't think I will get to my goal of 400, I am still trying.

Just a quick update. I have 3 fills for 7cc in a 14cc band and I am finaly starting to get usable restriction. I plataued and even put on a coouple of LBs while in band hell but the weight is starting to come off again. More important is that I am feeling good. 464lb current down from 538. I am only 8lbs away from 100 LBs lost!:smile: Still have a long way to go but now that I am getting some restriction I know I can do it. How are the rest of you doing will fills? have you found your sweet spot? I am thinking about getting another .5cc but I am going to wait a couple weeks. I am not having trouble eating anything, Not bread, not rice or pasta, not chicken or beef. I would hate to get another .5cc and not be able to eat anything. Keep your eye on the prize.

I have the 14cc band.

As a guy let me just say "Nice Rack!:thumbup:"

Wow, that was a huge NBD. (No Big Deal) I was a bit apprehensive because I don't handle needles all that well but it was nothing to worry about. Got to the Dr.s office and they weighed me. Only down a few LBs in the last couple weeks. Then down the hall to the fluoroscope. They had me lay down and used a tiny needle to anesthetize the area, they put the fill needle in and tilted me onto my feet and I drank a couple sips of barium (or whatever its called, punch flavored and thick) 5cc's in my 14cc band, then they had me drink some water before leaving. That was it. Took about 15 minutes and most of that was waiting, The actual fill took only 3 or 4 minutes and I have had more pain pricking my finger for a glocuse test. I dont know if I will have restriction from the first fill but I doubt it, That said, I feel "Tight" right now. I am on liquids for a couple days. Anyway, I should get back on real food in a few days. Next fill is already scheduled for may 5th.
