I had surgery July 12th as well I have only lost 2 pds! Considering I gained 4 after surgery!

I had the lapband procedure done May 2012. Since then I have only lost 20 pounds! I started off at 268.9 and dropped to 248.9. I was able to maintain this weightloss for a year. I did not have many complications with the band the first 4-5 months. One day I was awakened by acid reflux coming through my nose and it was down hill from there! The reflux continued along with heartburn and pain. After several fills to try and correct the problem nothing was successful. A friend of mine had the sleeve procedure a month after me her weight continued to fall of with no complaints! I then decided to see my surgeon about a revision. Everything was submitted to my insurance and the removal and revision was approved. I have been on a 2 week liquid diet it has been pure hell, but I know in the long run it will all be worth it! Today as I go in to surgery I weigh 237.8! My goal weight is between 150-160! I look forward to reaching that!

I also had my crap band removed, and this surgery was less painful! I have not had any pain just soreness on the left side!!! I pray that everything gets better for you!

I feel the same way and I'm only a week out! A good friend who is 1 year out reminded me that I am still healing! You don't want to cause any unnecessary problems!

I want food!!!! :-( !!!! I have also cheated! I have eaten 4 crackers and 4 ounces of ice cream over the past two day's! This is so hard!!!! I hate the protein in any form!

I have not had proper in take of protein and I hardly eat anything!

So far the only things I can stomach are sugar free jello, SF Grape Powerade, SF Popscicles the Popscicle Brand, Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup(broth) and Subway broccoli and cheddar soup broth!

I can't wait!!! On the hospital I had a sf Popsicle every hour! Now I'm addicted!

Good Luck to all the July Sleevers!!! I was sleeved 7/12 and discharged on 7/13! I did not wake up in pain and I have not been in pain at all! I have had soreness where my lapband port site was! I gained 4 pds the day of surgery, but there falling off! I can't wait to see results!!! I'm praying for each of you, because its always a little scary to have surgery!

I think my Toy Poodle can sense that something is wrong. He has been very calm, but I try to keep a pillow on my stomach to avoid him from causing me any pain!

Today is the last day of my diet! I will have surgery tomorrow at 12 noon! The two week liquid diet was horrendous! This is my second timing being that I currently have the lapband! I did cheat a little but with nothing heavy! Please note that if your liver does not shrink enough your surgery could be postponed or switched to an open procedure! I am converting to the Sleeve. I am super excited!!! Good luck with your diet try to stay focused!!! I know it's hard!!!

I was banded on 5/25/12. I am having the same problem! I am starving all the time! I have lost a total if 20 pds, but my weight is staying the same! I'm concerned bc I feel like I went though all of this for nothing! First fill 7/11! :-(

I was banded on yesterday! I feel great! I have very little pain! So far so good! I'm looking forward to shedding pounds now!!!!! I only have one concern, which is vaginal bleeding. I think the surgery prompted my cycle to start! I will be contacting my doctor ASAP! FYI: I was placed on a 2 week full/ clear liquid diet! I cheated a little during the first week and ate a few things! The second week the cheating was minimal! I did admit this to my doctor 2 days prior to surgery! He informed me that when I was pened if my liver did not shrink he would not perform the surgery! I was told that I'd have the holes and no band! Well after surgery he informed my mom that my liver was perfect! I was actually shocked! Please note I did not over indulge in anything! I ate very little to help with nausea, dizziness, and headache! So far so good! I'm excited!
