Then don't. When in a stall measure yourself! You might not be losing weight but you ARE losing inches. It isn't possible to eat 600 calories a day and your body not react!

Way to go! Your name suits you well!

You look great!!! -
Thanks fireball! I walk the track with my friend while my son has football practice 3 nights a week, and go to the gym and ride a bike 5 miles 2 other nights a week. I usually only walk 1.5 - 2 miles. Before I go into my meals, my surgeon is very lenient. I do not count carbs or fat. I try to get Protein first but if I want a bite or two of a potato...well then that is what I do. Everything in moderation for me. This is not a diet as far as I am concerned. It is about a new, healthier me. Normal day B- One egg with a thin slice of some kind of white lower fat cheese L- 8 or so turkey pepperoni a couple squares of some kind of fruit and 3 or 4 baby carrots. S- Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of granola for crunch. D- usually chicken, fish or Laura's lean beef incorporated into something. As a side I usually have a bite or two of cottage cheese, a few bites of salad or a veggie. I drink one Powerade zero (32 oz), a 6 oz glass of skim milk, a 24 oz bottle of Water and a real caffeinated coffee with bad for you creamer but no extra sugar. Lastly, my hubby wakes up at 3:00am for work and I get up and drink 1/2 of a premier Protein shake. I do this for 15 extra grams of protein and because any shake makes my stomach hurt. Doing it this way, I am fast asleep again and don't notice the rumbles.

Thanks! I remember wearing that dress thinking how cute I looked. I looked pregnant! So thankful for my new, much more healthy body. Another 20-25 to go!

I am like that too sometimes. this was a pretty normal sized dinner for me though and dinner is my biggest meal of the day, as I eat at 5:30 and go to bed around 12:30.

Stuffed chicken breast* Don't worry, it is cooked properly. The pink color is actually a reflection coming through the window from the leaves changing a beautiful orange.

Great job!

Avwerage Weight Loss - What Are The Numbers?
hm734 replied to sleevediva's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I stall all the time...if that is what you want to call it. I can go a week and lose nothing then the next week lose 7lbs. I am just short of 3 months out and have lost 50ish pounds. BMI 38 to 27 -
I was trying to figure out my excess weight lost. My doctor said for VSG 60% of excess weight is considered a success. I am currently just under 3 months post op and have went from 209 to 163. According to the calculator (using 209 for start weight, my height of 5'4 and 60%) I have already met this..that can't be right? http://m.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/information/post+op+planner.php Is it?

Thanks, but honestly it doesn't seem like this would be their goal for me. I would be mad if this is where I ended up in all honesty. I have a way to go! I hope I really knock it out of the park. I figured 135 was good for me, and used 140 as that would put me at 'normal Bmi'

Low Bmi - Half Way To Goal At 7 Weeks Out
hm734 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was just updating my ticker and noticed 2 things. First, I am half way to goal. This amazes me because I can go a week or two (I am only 7 weeks out) and not lose a single pound, and then lose 4 or 5 in a few days and then stop again. Also, I and am a measly 0.2 from being at a BMI of 30 or under. As I mentioned in an earlier post I am also off all my meds. Life is good today. This surgery was not easy for me, but I must say I am starting to think it was worth it. -
Where are our July sleevers? How are ya'll doing?

I should be clear. Just as I mentioned in a similar post, I do not eat things like this because I can't trust myself not to eat more than a bite, not because I look at my life as one big diet. If your doctor approves, and you can handle a small portion, knock yourself out. I personally know I would eat too much of it and would make a habit of it.
