hi there!!! are there really gay people here?!?!?!?
Jennifer SoFla replied to anninva's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This thread seems to fizzle out pretty often! Which is surprising since gay people are usually talkative lol -
I would try two things. Google melissa d'arabians black bean brownies. .. added Protein is always good and they are actually delicious! Second the grocery store, usually by the organic or gluten free etc specialty items. Is No Pudge brownie mix. You just mix the box of powder with plain yogurt.... also very yummy!

Yes it is a pain no doubt! I had to stay on a 6 month "supervised" diet... which I intentionally avoided losing weight. It was a ton of hoops but my surgery cost my insurance company $42,000 and I only paid $375. For that.... I would have jumped through several more hoops. Lol

I was 8 pounds shy of being eligible. Ankle weights and flare legged jeans did the trick. Also I slumped a little when getting my height measured because the shorter you are the less you have to weigh and one inch makes a difference lol

Thank you everyone! I wish I could take full credit and say I worked so hard. But in all honesty I don't eat eat enough protein, or drink enough water. I've also worked out like 4 times since surgery. I'm a terrible post surgery patient but I feel great... the sleeve is totally doing all the work for me! =) I'll be forever grateful for this life changing operation! -

Does The Sweating Stop?
Jennifer SoFla replied to Paigers's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My favorite part of the sleeve is the lack of sweating. I can now tolerate the south Florida heat. Never have the air in my car above low and my house stays at 75 degrees and I have to wear socks every night to sleep. I think it's more than just weightloss though. The part of your stomach that gets taken out has something to do with regulating body temperature. Either way.. definitely a plus side to surgery! -
Since Surgery - What Are Favorite Go To Foods
Jennifer SoFla replied to slimshadee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
1- scallops, especially cooked with a sweet Thai chili sauce (omg so good!) 2- teriyaki beef Jerky from Walmart. 1 ounce is 12 grams of Protein, and you have no choice but to eat it slow. 3- black bean Soup from any Mexican restaurant. With a little sour cream or Greek yogurt on top. Yum! It helps with my protein and calorie intake. -
Sliming Again?
Jennifer SoFla replied to Shape_Shifter's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had this really bad. Unfortunately the only thing that helped we was slowing down when I was eating. That was I realize I'm full before it's too late. If I get the feeling that I'm over full and I'm gonna produce the foam sometimes a sip or two of Water will help some of the good slide on through your stomach. However this does NOT work for me if my tummy is full of dense Protein. Since that can't "slide" through it makes it so much worse! -
My original username on here before I locked myself out and my username for everything else is DifferDaze ...my partner and I we are Diane and Jennifer hence Differ (which we use a lot!) And daze is self explanatory. Now my name on here is boring, since I'm just Jennifer in south Florida, but when I had to re-create a name I thought this one would put me in touch with more locals.
