Switching to decaf is sooo hard! I just don't feel awake! Weening myself off of caffeine before surgery next week.

I lurked around for a while too. My mind was pretty made up by the time I registered and made my first post. Then things went really fast! My surgery is next week!

I am not planning on telling anyone. They are all used to my weight loss attempts, so they won't really question the way that I will be eating. Last summer I did 8 weeks on what is referred to here as full liquids - I am just going to say that is my summer diet.

That is a boat load of water. 64 ounces is usually the recommendation for an entire day. There is no way I could get that amount of water in.

They are pretty good, and if you join their club, you get a discount.

I first spoke with my Dr. On May 27th and I am scheduled for June 14th. I couldn't be happier it was scheduled so quickly. But if the timing is too quick for you, I am sure you could request a later date. I am also thrilled to be post op during the summer because I find it much easier to eat smaller quantities of food during the warmer months. -

Great video - great response. I am not telling anyone before the surgery (except my husband, of course.) I just don't feel like educatiing them. I'll take it on a case by case basis after.
