I am your classic story...all my life I have been on the heavy side. I have tried everything from starving myself to low carb diet. I always ended up gaining the weight back or it wouldn't come off fast enough. As I got older it got harder to lose weight. I got my biggest 256 and decided to try yet again to lose weight. Nothing I did worked. I went to many doctors only to be treated like I wasn't trying. I then finally had one doctor take one look at something and discovered I had PCOS. I was on the road to recovery however those with PCOS know what a struggle it is to lose weight. I was even on weight loss pills but I could only lose up to a certain amount and then nothing. My health overall continued to go downward. After much research I decided to check into the lapband. Because of this surgery I discovered that not only did I have PCOS but servere apena, fatty liver just to name a few. I had my surgery in October and I am pretty happy with my progress. Food however is still a struggle for me but I am working on that. I will continue and always have too fight this long hard battle. I welcome new and all friends because we can all relate to one another. I don't care what any one says this isn't an easy way out but a tool to help you reach your goals easier.
