That is awesome Skyvic!!! I hope to be in your shoes one day.

Well it is now three days after my last fill and it has slacked off a little. I guess is was just a little bit of swelling from the fill that made me feel the restriction! Hopefully next time it will be back to where I was a few days ago.

Fill number 4.... not sure why i got ahead of myself and said 5.

This is a question for those of you in your green zone. I received fill number 5 today. I am now at 6.1cc in a 10cc band. Was it like an "ahh ha" moment when you reached the green zone? I know it is only the first day since my latest fill but it feels like it made a huge difference! Just curious if it is my brain playing tricks on me or could the green zone be possible???

Pretty Much A Failure!

I have stepped up on drinking Water... I know I wasn't drinking enough. It has helped, it makes me feel better too. I need to prepare some high Protein Snacks and keep them in the fridge at work when I feel hungry. -

Pretty Much A Failure!
cmoody821 replied to cmoody821's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you ladies for your comments! I feel like I am a failure because I am not sticking to the rules and not losing any weight. I need to kick myself in the butt and start doing what I should have done all along. I also haven't been checking this website which gave me a lot of motivation prior to surgery. Another downfall on my part. -
I was banded in July 2012. I lost 20lbs prior to surgery, it felt great! I have now had three fills, with 5.7cc in a 10cc band. This past fill really made a difference! I am still hungry every 2.5 hours though. I feel like I am failing big time! I haven't lost anymore weight since surgery and even gained 4 lbs since my last appointment. I just feel like I have lost all my motivation. I am an extremely picky eater, which is what got me in this position in the first place. I need to do a little soul searching to kick start my process again. I am just venting.... thanks for listening!

Yes, I can eat just fine. I have never been stuck before but I would imagine it to be somewhere near my chest. I, of course, could be wrong but the pain was right under neath my left ribcage. This morning when I woke up it was gone, so hopefully it will remain that way.

No food stuck. I just ate dinner and everything went fine. The nurse never called back! Not very happy about that.

I am 3.5 weeks post op and have been eating slowly, chewing my food and having no issues. Today I had lunch during a meeting and I guess I got caught up and started taking to big of bites. I have this horrible pain under my left rib cage. It’s a shooting, stabbing pain. It has been going on for about 4 hours now. What should I go? I actually almost buckled from the pain in the hallway at work. I have taken some papaya enzymes just to see if it would help, but no luck. I have left a message with the nurse just waiting to hear back.

Have You Gone Back???
cmoody821 replied to allik07's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just started my mushy phase today... had refried beans with salsa for lunch. Not sure how well its going down. Seems to be a bit sluggish. Anyone else experience that? I am trying mashed potatoes tonight. I can't wait until I can eat real food again. I have been craving my favorite restraunt.
