Thanks ladies. I now that is the right answer, but my endo knew little about wls and itching about the sleeve. Hoping someone could share their experience.

I am on an insulin pump, type 1.5 which is adult onset type 1.

Don't lose focus. I am so sorry you where denied again. But eventually, I am sure you will get this done. You might want to look into going to Mexico. I read that lots of people do it. Good luck to you.

Good luck with your search. Have you tried laundry detergent for sensitive skin. My mom had to change soap, fabric softener, anything that touched her skin before she figured it out.

Wow. I've been trying to thing of things just to stay positive and avoid the painiced butterflies. I am looking forward to being in family photos, not insisting on being the one taking the pictures. I am looking forward to no seatbelt extenders on the airplanes, saying no problem to sitting in a booth at a restaurtant, shoppping in the regular section of the store, having no more back and knee pain, sleeping while cuddling with my husband, not with my c pap machine, looking like I belong with my husband and three skinny daughters (thank god they look more like their father. lol) Being able to run after my grandbabies. Living longer and longer and seeing all my daughters down the aisle. The list is endless.

I doubt it MGM. My BMI is 43. I think it's just their policy.

Because of everyone talking about pre op diets, I have been preparing myself. I just spoke to my doctors office. I have only a 24 hour all clear liquid pre op. nothing else. I am both overjoyed and a little disappointed. The 2 week pre op diet sounds difficult, yet in a way is like really getting ready for post op and confirming just how close to the new life we are. maybe I'll self impose a 1 week pre op. maybe.

Good luck Corange! I work with emotionally disturbed children, so I know how stressful and rewarding that is. We use food as a incentive for good behavior far too much. Do your work and we will have chips at the end of the day. Earn all your points for the monthly pizza party. As a teacher, it is usually the most effective and cheapest reward we can give while in the classroom. School lunches are horrible. We are nurturing an overweight society. That's my rant for the day as I go off to graduation with lots of food afterwards. Not yet at my pre op time so I might taste here and there.
