I live the white chocolate macadamia Zone Perfect bars. I like the pure protein also, the s'mores and caramel nut are my favs. The zone ones are more or a Krispy rice texture where the pure protein are soft and chewy.

Infection with my port..
Aqusis replied to lozjacko's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had one in my port incision about 3 weeks after surgery. Antibiotics (keflex) took care of it. Surgeon said it was superficial in the indecision and did not actually get to the port itself. I'm now 2 months later and that end of the incision is a more raised darker scar but the infection is gone, dr said if it was went deeper we would have had to remove to port. -
Significant loss with no fills
Aqusis replied to Rn925's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 2 months out with no fill yet. I've lost 51 lbs. dr declines fill last month and said we'd do it this month if I lost less than 5 lbs but I'm down 10 since last apt and still 2 weeks to go until this months apt so likely no fill this time either. My surgeon put zero in at surgery so I'm completely empty. -

Aqusis replied to jenni612's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Is it really this easy?!
Aqusis replied to SuzyMarie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
No, my surgeon says no Protein Shakes at the 4 week post op point when he allows normal food. I get all my protein from solid food. -

Have a small slice if the pie but just eat the filling, skip the crust, that's where most of the fat and calories are! -
Protein shakes vs slimfast
Aqusis replied to 2013bandgirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The slim fast low carb had only 2 grams sugar, 4 carbs, 21 grams protein for 200 calories. I used them when I was on the go for the convenience of being premixed -
