Like loss of appetite?

My surgeon says no liquids 30 mins before or after, my GI doctor says absolutely drink with your meals!!! I do happen to drink anyway!!!

Everyone is different. I have 3cc in my band and her okay restriction but at 4cc couldn't get even a mushy down, was too tight. I joined Zumba 3 times a week. The weight is really coming off. I lost 15lbs in the last month since I started the Zumba. Down 40lbs total. There's no race to your goal weight. U will get there. Like you said, it's a tool not a miracle

I got pregnant one month later the band. I never had a fill so there was no reason to take out any fluid. It was really fine. After you have the baby it will just be like starting over

Has anyone experienced upper abdominal and back pain after eating? What's the cause! I have no gallbladder or appendix. Normal GI series and normal band position .

I had my surgery in may of 2012 and then got pregnant one month later so I had a baby in April of 2013. I would say the pain started in June and was on and off for a month everytime I ate a meal not a small snack. It started within an hour of eating and lasted an hour or two

Well. Mine was put in with 3cc and I had good restriction. Once they added 1 cc nothing passed through and I threw up everyday so they took it out so I'm back at the original 3cc. I didn't know what was in my band until I asked at my first fill. Everyone is different some ppl have 8cc and can still eat and I couldn't eat anything at 4cc. Do not rush it, go slow. I was hungry a lot at the beginning too, but hey, I was used to over eating my whole life.... Lol

How much did the put in your band when they placed it at surgery

It's making me very nervous and giving me all kinds of side effects. I'm so nervous I can't eat a thing.

Msb... Did u find out the cause? I also have stomach and back pain after I eat and I had a normal gi series. The lap band dr said eat smaller meals. I went to the ER and all blood work was good. Not sure what it can be

I over cook mine. Otherwise it's a no go!!!

When they added by banded to 4cc. I felt like I was gonna die. Everything got stuck, peanut butter, tuna, jello....... When they took out the 1cc I literally felt the stuck food from the morning pass... I'm willing to do some exercising to never feel like that again

Shantell why no fills? I also ha one full since surgery that was removed because I was too tight. Are you losing well without it?

My band was put in with 3cc. When I got my first fill of 1 cc nothin went down. It was very scary and uncomfortable. Go slowly!!!!

They say u lose the last place u gained so if u Aleah's had belly fat it's the last to go

I did great with no fill! Except whatever was put in. I was losing and it was great. I got a full and I'm completely miserable and can't eat a thing. I hope he takes the fill out. I'm willing to work a little harder with less fluid Jen to be totally miserable

I've Been over weight my whole life and decided to make a change and got banded. After my first fill I've ha such bad experiences with food that i don't even wanna eat. Is my quest to be skinny worth it??? Have thrown up every solid I have eatin. Someone tell me how to eat correctly

I was banded may of 2012 and got pregnant one month later. In that one month i lost 30lbs and gained 30 back from the pregnancy and Luckily lost 28lbs I just got my first fill on Friday which put me up to 4cc. I know it's not an awful amount of fluid which Is why I can't understand the burping and hiccups and vomiting when the food gets stuck. I feel terrible amounts of pressure while eating. I've lost 7lbs in 9 days which I know everyone thinks is great but the dr said 1 lb per week not per day. I can't even drink too fast as it is very uncomfortable. I went from being able to eat "normally" if I watched my bite sizes to not being able to eat at all. My kids see me over the garbage calm all the time and I don't like that. Any advice is appreciated.

I just got a fill too and I'm up to 4cc and nothing is going down well. Not sure what to do either
