Thanks Amy!! Your surgery is tomorrow!!!! Are you sooooooo excited? They moved mine from the 4th to the 13th. I have a 10 year old and she was eating cheese puffs... I wanted to lick the cheese off of her fingers. hahaha -
I have anxiety and take meds and i got clearance on my first visit. If there a different psych you can see? Maybe this is a good thing if your anxiety is too severe. The first time I tried this was 2 years ago and turned down for anxiety. It was a blessing. I truly was not ready.

I start my pre-op diet tomorrow and I am NOT looking forward to feeling like I will starve to death! Any advice? i.e. better tasting options, seasoning green veggies, etc

It's a liquid with a cup of green veggies a day for 2 weeks. Seems like waaaay too little for anyone so if I survive 3 days... -

My surgery date is June 4th and I am excited to begin my journey but completely petrified about being put to sleep. This will be my very first surgery ever so I want to hear how it was for y'all. Were you in excruciating pain when you woke up? Do you dream? Do you have a headache? Do they let you take something to calm you before they start the anesthesia thing? EEEeek!!!! -

Mygastricsleevelife-I think the trip to the OR itself would freak me out! lol. I will report back so future sleevees will know how a totally chickened out girl did! -

I am terrified of the anesthesia and letting my nerves get the worst of me. I am doing what all others are doing and what if'ing myself crazy! Prayers and luck on your surgery and journey! -
It looks like June 4th will be a busy day! I can relate to all of who are saying June is taking forever and the whole flip-flop of being scared and then giddy. I have even gone as far as to picking a store to buy my first regular sized outfit. I'm looking forward to losing the X's from my sizes! hugs, prayers and the best of luck to ALL of my fellow June sleevers! I cannot wait to hear how everyone does!!!
