Good to hear! Will the rumbling inside an gas pains in my chest go away as well? Or is there something I can do to help?

It kind of sucked coming home because I'm having a hard time getting enough liquids in. Its difficult to get comfy in bed I'm use to the adjustable hospital beds. Part of healing I suppose.

Thanks everyone. Soooo ready to go home today. Taking lots of walks helps with the gas pains after. I'm having them in belching form though. Puts pressure near the chest def get out of bed and walk as much as possible! Sitting down and using the restroom is a lot less sore and tender in my stomach today. So that's progress!!

Dr. Snow just sleeved me and said surgery couldn't have gone better an I'm feelin good

Thank you everyone!!!!! Nurse said I'm doing great. Plus I get to go home tomorrow yayyyyyy. La Belle do not be unsure. You are going to do great. You have all the support u need. Especially right here. It's only minor discomfort and worth going through to have a quality life. Don't look back hun give it all you got an keep me posted. :-)

That's great! I had my surgery today. I've been pretty sore but other then that nothing like I had imagined. Good luck sweetie.

My insurance wouldn't which is okay because self pay process is fast an easy. Good luck!

Well of it makes ya feel better I went to my seminar end of April. Had a consultation may 4. Saw the psychologist following Sunday. Had my preop the following wednesday and now my surgery is this Wednesday. It was fast an good process although I didn't go through insurance.

Julie- I want to let you know that I think dr snow is amazing and you have made a great choice. I was scheduled to have the lap band and I had a break down this weekend and cried alllllllll day Saturday because I thought the lap band was a mistake well dr snow took the time out of his Saturday to let me know he will do what it takes I make sure that this Wednesday he performs the sleeve on me. It meant a lot to me. He has the best personality which drew me to him because I was originally referred to his partner dr Wagner. But when I met dr snow I knew he was who I would feel most comfortable with. The office staff is wonderful. I felt like I called/emailed them a lot but they were always willing to help me. Rest assured you are in good hands from my experience. I will definitely keep you posted. Good luck!!!! :-) Brittany

Yes I know. I'm very thankful for this. I think the hardest part for me is going to be my emotions. Like why did it take this for me to be healthy and to be accepted an so on. I know when I finally decide to start dating again (my ex ruined my desire to date for a while) I will feel like wow you never would have thought twice about dating me if I was overweight. I don't know I could be wrong.

Yes I am so excited too! I've been so into this researching and preparing anything I can do to be ready. Although i dont think you can be ready enough till you have it done an know giw it feels and works but It helps keep my mind off this dreadful week long strict clear liquid diet I've been on. Good thing is I only have two more days till surgery and then hopefully the liquid diet won't be so bad when I got my sleeve.

Not that it matters now since its too late for me to change anything but how was st Alexis? I had a choice to go there or Jefferson region with dr. Wagner/snow. I chose Jefferson regional hopefully it was a good decision and how soon were you back to normal life? My surgery is this Wednesday an I plan on returning to work the following Tuesday so it's only 6 days but if all goes well does that sound doable??

I will definitely start sipping tomorrow lol. And do you know when your surgery is skinnyricki? It's like a weight being lifted off your shoulders when you know your finally getting the tool you've been missing all along in aiding weight loss. I'm also curious I have my surgery Wednesday and plan on going back to work the following Tuesday is that sufficient time if all goes well? I sit at a desk so it's nothing to serious.

Yea. I've heard a lot of bad about lap band as well as failure and not that great of results. I'm a cash pay so if I am paying this kind of money I want results. I have the self motivation and discipline to get them but don't see myself getting them from the band.

Well. I was planning on having the lap band up until yesterday. I had a huge break down an anxiety attack thinking I was making the wrong decision. Considering my doctor suggested the sleeve from the beginning I called him on Saturday an he talked to me about it and told me not to worry he WILL Perform the sleeve on my and it WILL be Wednesday. I am happy again. I can't hardly wait. I've been on a strict cleat liquid diet since the 14th and I'm going crazy still. I am very proud that I made it though with out cheating (besides the few oyster crackers to keep me from passing out) when I didn't have enough fluids. They were still oyster crackers now even a full saltine cracker so no biggie. Anyways I am ready for some positive results and happiness to shed over my life.
