My goal is a size 10. I have no clue what I will weigh at that size. I have never been below a size 18 as an adult so I have no clue how that will feel. Currently i am in a size 22/24. Surgery date is nov 6th. 1 week away!

I am scheduled for surgery in about a week on Nov 6th! It is coming so fast! Yikes! I started to try to prepare myself by watching what I eat and portions. I am now on my pre op diet which is more flexible than most. I am allowed I have 3 carnation instant breakfast shakes a day and two lean or smart ones meals. I started out weighing 268 on my first meeting with the doc 2 months ago and today I weighed 251! I can't believe I am actually loosing weight! I haven't been under 250 since before I had my first child 8 years ago! I am so excited to keep going and become a healthy person. I have my pre op next week and was thinking about this for two reasons. First my step mom had it done and she had about 65-75% taken out. I saw what she has been able to do with it and she is very successful. Also I have a very sensitive stomach and get sick to my stomach about everytime I eat. I am worried with it being so small. I am not sure what to do.

Ok this might be a silly question but for you post sleevers who say you cannot tolerate certain foods. What were the signs that your sleeve didn't like that food? Do u get a stomach ache? Loose bm? Just wanted an idea of what I would be feeling. Surgery is almost here. November 6th! Can't wait!

Thanks guys! That is exactly what I was wondering. Hopefully I will figure out what my sleeve can tolerate early on and not have too many issues. 12 more days till surgery.

Nov 6th for me too!

Well my step mom had it done and that is what pushed me to have it done. I wasn't going to tell many people but of course my mom ran her mouth and everyone knows. I hope I don't get the negative comments once I have my surgery nov. 6th. I don't want people saying I took the easy way out or anything. If they think that then they are obviously misinformed because it is just a tool and we have to do the hard work to be successful.

I am from Middletown too. I am with dr teel out of Miami valley hospital. Surgery date is nov 6th!

Mine are roller coasters, running around with my kids, my knees not hurting when I go up the steps, running (I have always wanted to like running). And of course skinny sex!

I had one of these today too! I told my son I went to the hospital for my pre op today and his response was "but mom. You still look the same". Lol. I guess he thinks I am magically going to come out of the hospital skinny.

Well good luck on getting your approval and date. Today I was at the hospital from 6:30am to 1:30 pm. I had to get bloodwork, EKG, X-rays, upper GI, and two different classes. One was a nutrition course and the other covered the hospital stay and surgery. It was very long but informative. Only one more appt left with the surgeon next wed on the 31st then surgery on the 6th! Yay. 2 more weeks!

I love near Cincinnati in Morrow. Surgery is scheduled for Nov 6th. Pre op is tomorrow at Miami valley hospital. I am with dr teel put of Dayton. Good luck to everyone!

My surgeon does not even suggest lap band anymore. He said he takes out way more than he puts in. I hope that you are successful with it! That is all that matters! Good luck!
