Tomorrow is the big day for me as well!

Surgery date 4/27/15. My doctor only recommended a 2 day preop liquid diet in which I started today. Excited yet nervous.

I scheduled for surgery and find myself becoming extremely nervous more and more as the day approaches. I have been preparing myself for a year feeling very confidence for the most part. Now the thought of having my a large part of my stomach removed is really starting to hit me. I've been crying and so nervous I can't sleep. Has anyone else felt extremely nervous close to the surgery date? I know it will be worth it in the end, but this nervousness hit me hard all of a sudden :-(.

The concerns of my family is what affects me the most. They are concerned about the possible complications and what if I don't make it out. I just been praying for peace and a safe surgery/recovery. I know I've been frustrated with how long I've been battling my weight. I want to take a chance on improving my health. I know that surgery is a tool Not a cure all for sure. I will just continue to pray and ask my family to do the same. My anxiety is starting to get the best of me though.
