http://www.livestrong.com/article/333816-caffeine-stomach-ulcers/ http://www.healthy.net/Health/Article/Effects_of_Caffeine_and_Coffee_on_Heartburn_Acid_Reflux_Ulcers_and_GERD/2396 Here are a couple of websites that explain how in some cases caffeine is associated with ulcers. I am sure it is just in extreme cases but if you already experience reflux or IBS ( like I do), it might be best to stay away from it. -
Just wondering how long it took for the lap-banders to go back to work? My dr said that I only needed to take off a week so I did and tried going back to work today (post-op 7 days) and I only made it 2 hrs until I felt like I was going to pass out from exhaustion. I am on my feet for 9-10 hrs with only 30 min break. Just wondering how everyone else felt.

My surgeon said no caffeine because it could cause ulcers, and having wieght loss surgery we are already at risk for them. -

Swallowing Pills After Surgery?
beautifulnikki replied to eyewonder's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told as long as the pill is the size of a pincel eraser than you can swollow it. But also be careful about crushing up pills because you can't crush up slow release pills. -
Every time I get up and move I get up and move around I get extremely nauseous. Does anyone else feels this, and if so what is helping you?
