Well started off today with a good start, I worked out this morning before I did anything else!! Going to try to workout everyday this week. Next big thing is to get in enough protien, that's a hard one for me I'm not a big meat eater. Hope everyone is doing well and have a great week!!

I'm going thru the same thing been banded for 5 yrs. I lost 75 and have gained 15 in the last few months. I'm addicted to sugar and can't seem to get back on track it all started from stress! I need accountability and have to learn to deal with stress differently. Help!!

My port is also high between my ribcage just below where my bra hits. I had a TT 1 year ago in January and my PS removed the port, tightened the muscles all the way up and then stitched my port back in. Wish I had known about the smaller ports before my surgery, but you really don't see it unless you are really looking. Love my new tummy took away most of the lapband scars.

I was self pay and had my surgery 1/07 by Dr. Morton it has been great, everything I could have hoped for!! I really didn't have to wait long after my consultation since I was self pay. Just waited long enough to do my 2 week liquid diet. Good Luck you will love the whole staff!! Debbie banded 1/07

Hey everyone, sounds like alot of us think about the old dieting days! It's so tempting when you see all the commercials on tv. Just the other day I was at Walmart and saw the Jullian Michaels has a new diet aid out, had it my hand and was seriously going o buy it and remembered I really didn't need to do that. Old self just kicks in again, crazy how that works!! I guess that behavior takes time to unlearn, huh!? Hope everyone has a good week! Sunshine - yes the slider foods are becoming a little less tempting, but still need to get back to the exercise.
-
The band has a mind of it's own! Mine does the same way Sunshine, it give me good restriction during the day, but by evening is very relaxed. I've been doing a lot of slider foods lately and really need to stop, such a bad habit. I have a 4cc band and it's at 4.2 but could be a little more, almost afraid to do that this time of year with flu and stomach viruses. But we'll see what the doc thinks in Nov. Hope everything is going well!

Sunshine - You have really been thru alot! Hope your rotator cuff heals soon my brother is having surgery Friday on his both of his are giving him trouble but they will only do one at a time. What is your band filled to now, I think I still need a very small fill I go in the first part of Nov to see the doc. Have a great night!

How long have you had your band and are you still happy?

Was banded about 2 1/2 years ago and have been completely happy with it. To date I have no problems. Love it!! -
Hey, Sunshine Dr. Melinda Haas in Nashville, TN did my PS. I had a tt and breast aug and lift. She gives a discount when you do more than one thing. You might check on that when you talk to a PS. I would like my arms and thighs and neck done, but oh well I'll have to be happy just like I am. Think I'm done with the PS, but the whole experience was great, pain not bad, recovery easy! Thanks for responding, I'm going to try and be on here daily so you guys can help keep me accountable. Today has been a good day feel like I'm on track, if night time does not get the best of me. That's when old habits sneak back in, think I'll hit the treadmill instead (that's my intentions). Have a great day!! Debbie Banded 1/8/07 fill 4.2 235/159/145

Haven't been on here in ages! But time now to get started again. Hoping and knowing this will motivate me again by making me accountable to someone (all you guys)! Had PS this past January and feel great but feel like now I am sabatoging myself by eating all the wrong foods. Help!!! Need to get back on track, I can see the old eating habits coming back (scared). Starting fresh tomorrow with protien and exercise! Wish me luck, my will power seems to have gone out the window and not using my band as the tool that it was intended to be. Hope to be talking to everyone a lot! Lynn, Don't be discouraged I work with a girl that had lapband 1 year before us and had her TT about 1 year ago. She had to get an unfill sometime after her TT and gained some weight back, but she since has had another fill and it's working and she has lost her weight again and her TT looks great now! Hope this helps, it will come off and you will look great!! Debbie banded 1/8/07 h235/c156/g145

Hi, I'm Debbie I live in Mt. Juliet just outside of Nashville. I was banded 1/08/07 by Dr. Morton at Baptist. It has been the greatest thing I have every done. I've lost around 80 pounds need to loose about 10 to 15 more and then maintain. That sounds so great to say. It's been more difficult lately, seems hard to stay away from the ice cream and choc. Starting my exercise again things seem to be alot easier when I'm dedicated to that. It's great to see that there are several people on here from TN. I don't know why I haven't checked out the thread before. Nice to meet all of ya'll if I can be of any help to anyone let me know! Debbie banded 1/8/07 Dr. Morton h235/c156/g145
