  1. I am wondering how much is ok to drink in an hour? I try to get in 8 ounces an hour, but I am worried that its too much. I am getting about 40 ounces a day and I know its not enough, but do most of you just have a bottle of water attached to your hand at all times. I feel like all I do is drink all day long!
  2. I am 3 weeks post op and I am supposed to be taking calcium and wondered if you take a pill or do chewables? My doc said that I could just take a regular vitamin, but the nut told me that I should still be taking a chewable. They confused me since they were on different pages! When did you change to swallowing your vitamins and other supplements? I already swallow prylosec and synthroid.
  3. I am almost 3 weeks post op and have felt great until about 2 days ago. I have been having off and on left side pain and nausea. I was switched to a soft diet last week and started taking my vitamins and I wonder if that has something to do with that or if I have something more going on. I don't have a fever or anthing so I am hoping it is not a leak. Did any of you have this when your diet was changed or started taking vitamins? Thanks for you help!
  4. Did your wrist hurt all the time or only when you pressed on the spot? My wrist has been painful for the last few days, but only if you press on it....like its tender from a bruise or something. Its right down from where I had my iv and I have been wondering about a blood clot. Hope you are doing better soon!!
  5. I have also been taking them whole since the day after surgery. I have to wait to take vitamins till I am 2 weeks out and then those have to be chewable or liquid. I am taking synthroid, an antinausea pill, and antacid whole a couple of times a day and haven't had a problem.
  6. I am a week and a half out (surgery June 5) and I was in a bind tonight and didn't bring something to eat with me while visiting family. The only thing they had that was soft was cottage cheese, so I had about 3 or 4 tablespoons and now I am worried I messed up. I have felt ok, just a little bit of gas. I am on full liquids and will change to a soft diet next week so hoping it isn't a huge deal!
  7. Thanks, it makes me feel better!! I chewed it a ton before I ate it, so I am thinking I am good to go! But I will wait now until my appt to try it again.
  8. I am freaking out....my kids came down with hand, foot, and mouth disease this weekend. They have sores in their mouths, feet, and hands. I am so worried that I could catch it. I am hoping that I had it when I was a kid and am immune from it. My poor kids have been with other family members until today, but now I am afraid to be around them and touch them....I feel like such a bad mom!!! Praying that we make it through this and they are soon on the mend!
  9. I cried the whole entire day before my surgery. It is a huge change thats going to happen and I'm not sure if you have kids, but that really affected me. I was worried about them and my husband if something happened to me. I am sure it is part of the process and you will get through it!!
