I am having to have a CT scan done. I have pain on the left side of my port. Don't know if I pulled something apart ect... Just started hurting over the last week. Can eat and drink fine. My question is, do they clearly see the band on the CT scan? If there is an issue with the band or port (flipped port or slipped band) can they tell it on the scan? Thanks!

This morning I have had the most burning sensation. I don't think it's heartburn. It's not in my breastbone. It is several inches lower in the area of my stomach. It hurt this morning while I was getting ready and when i ate. Anyone had anything like this? Also, if food is getting stuck often but you can eat more than a cup should you have a fill? My doctor said if I can eat more than one cup I need a fill, but food gets stuck often. I know some is user error but not all of it. I was curious to see if any one else is having this issue. Naturally, my breasts go up and down in size with weight loss and gain. I was banded on 5/22/07. I am down 28lbs in that time. One thing I have noticed though, is that one girl is shrinking a whole lot faster than her sister. My right has always been a hair bigger than my left, but now it is starting to get noticable. I always thought I would need a tummy tuck after I reach goal, but now I am wondering if I need to think about a breast lift in order to get them back to matching pair. Anyone else have experience with this? Kat

Hi everyone! I had my first fill last week. He Dr. Curry initially put in 1.5cc but while drinking my H2O had a weird sensation in my breast bone. So, he took out .5cc. He was as quick as can be, and I felt neither stick. I didn't bruise afterwards or anything. I even showed the doctor I work for the next day, and you could barely see the pin prick where he stuck me. But now, 6 days later, I have a red almost like a rash about the size of a quarter and the injection site. It is not a bruise. It is red and raised like an allergic reaction. Could my saline have leaked out and caused this? I feel no different than I did before my fill. For the 1st 24hrs I could tell a difference, but in the last few days, I am back to the same feeling I was pre-fill. Thanks for any advice. I am going to email the office in a minute and see what they say. I just noticed it, not 15 minutes ago though. Kat

Hi everyone. I have been lurking around forever now. I fly to CO on Monday to be banded on tuesday. Any advice? I am worried about the flight home. It is a non-stop from denver to Cincinnati, so that is one good thing. Should I take a pillow on the plane? What did you all take for your hotel rooms? My mom is going with me thank goodness. We fly to CO monday AM, for a 4pm appt with Dr. K, then surgery on the 22nd, post-op on the 23rd and home on the 24th. I printed out some stuff on the page with all threads about what to have for after the surgery, but hotel rooms are so much different than being at home. Thanks, Kat
