Things You Can Never Have Again With Sleeve :(

i have never cared much for soda, unless i had it in a alchoholic beverage. i dont drink anymore so no need for soda. i cant really tolerate bbq sauce or red sauces and i am 3 and a half mths post op. as far as lettuce it goes down so smooth i would eat a salad every day. i find soft foods work well with me .....i have truly learned to love yogurt and mashed potatoes, and talopia fish. so i eat that more than any other food. i love being sleeved so much i walk a mile a day, when i hadnt walked in two almost three years and now im on a mile and a half. would i get sleeved again yes in a heartbeat.... -
Staying Focused During A Stall Or Extended Slow Loss Period.
ChynaBlack replied to pasquini's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You are right i have lost 50 lbs and im not worried about my wieght anymore. i dont panic when i get on the scale now. and i sometimes forget about the scale because not only am i looking better i feel better even thought im bot a size 10 hell im not a size 20 but i look good as hell and i am as sexxy as they come. so people dont panic the weight will come off slow or fast it doesnt matter just go with it and be a better you. automatically you will lose the weight that what the surgery does it makes you lose weight, so dont worry do your part and it will come off lb by lb slow or fast the sleeve helps you to lose weght. im glad i did it becuase i could never lose weight without gaining it back 3 weeks later...............so enjoy the hard part is getting sleeved and weve done that so grow in your mind and lose in your body... -
First i would like to say im glad to hear all is well that just had the surgery with dr. almanza. i saving my money so i can take my son to have the sleeve done in december. He sees my progress and cant wait to start his journey.

9 Months Out And I've Lost Momentum
ChynaBlack replied to wondering1's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
when all else fails go back to liguids for 2 weeks and then mushies and then work toward real food again. you have to reprogram yourselves sometimes. and also the only thing that can beat a fail is a try... -
i told god for you his will and his way and to guide you surgeons hands and i wish you a speedy recovery and zero complications......go in god speed...

When Did You Start Exercising?
ChynaBlack replied to jessica0728's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
i have a new treadmill and im getting on it tonight i want to exercise so bad. i just had surgery on the 7th of june. i think walking shouldnt hurt. any suggestions anyone. -
i was sleeved on the 7th of june also with dr. almanza and i would do it again in a heart beat. matter of factly he did like 9 sleeves that day and from my knowledge we all are doing fine they have an excellent facility. like said before people play dirty for wrong reasons. if i have to be sleeved any where in the world i would choose almanza and his staff at jerusalem surgery center ten times again. i was sleeved with johanna and we were well taken care of .

My Hubby Doesn't Support Me Spending $15K For Surgery
ChynaBlack replied to tango16's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
i had my sleeve done in mexico at hospital jerusalem. and it went perfect and they treat you like royalty. The cost was 4500 and my surgury and the ten other patient that were sleeved by Dr. alamanza went very well. Im taking my son back in january to be sleeved. So research jerusalem hospital you will not be disappointed. best decision of my life. -
Having Trouble Deciding Between Bypass And The Sleeve. Any Suggestions?
ChynaBlack replied to pedsnurse120304's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I went with the sleeve because i feel it was safer than the bypass. i didnt want my intestines rerouted and at the wl seminar i was told the bypass was dangerous and could kill you. i am 3 weeks post op and i couldn't be more happy with my results, im am well, and i see so much progress. i am so happy i had my proceedure done on the 7th and only one regret,,,i didnt do it sooner. so its your choice in the end. But i wouldnt change my decision to have the sleeve.
