How many cc's did you get? What size band do you have?

Im 4 months post op and for over a month I've not lost any weight. I get hungry every 2 hours. I think more than before surgery. Im i a freak of nature? Im soooo scared i will fail at this too. I go get another fill on the 25th. I called my dr to see if he can give me another fill sooner, but he won't give me one!!! I feel like giving up sometimes. But i know better. Sorry i just had to vent. need encouragement

Do you ever lay face down on port and feel it kind of turning and freak out? I do! I'm almost 4 months out and when i lay on my stomach it feels sore. ={

I also want to wear a slutty outfit for role play with hubby.

I go to dr. Groves in Albertville. Just wondering how often you get fills. I have to weight every 6 weeks! so i was band 6/19/12 and have lost 30lbs. I've had 2 fills. How about you? I have a 14 cc band with 6.5 in. Still have no restriction.

I guess there's no one in my area?

I know how you feel, im stressed also. I didn't realize how hard it would be for me. I also have had 2 fills, but your lucky i have to wait 6 weeks for each fill. I have a 14 cc band and have 6.5 in. I have a 14cc band and have had 2 fills with 6.5cc's In band. i still get hungry. My next fill is 10/25. Seems like forever. Dr. says every month i will get a fill, but they give me my appointments every 6 weeks. Makes me stressed. I really hoped i would be able to get married in June. I'm already married , but only in court house. I've lost 30 since 6/19. Haven't lost any weight in 3 weeks. Make me want to give up. But i have faith in God! I just need a cheer me up. Love Lu

I've heard about this before some where. I think it has to do with what we eat. (protein) or something.

MY first fill i got 4cc and today i got 2 1/2 cc's. Hope this is much better. Praying!

Well i did get approved! Had my band on 6/19! I'm down two sizes! God does answer prayers! <3

hello everybody! I am extremely happy to have found this site. on monday I will probly find out if I get approved by insurance. pray for me. 2 years ago I tried to get the lap band but, doctor said that I couldn't get it done because I had lupus. I had went through all of the 7 month of appointments and at the end doctor said he couldn't do it. I went back to the lupus doctor and he told me that a miracle happen I didn't have lupus anymore!, so now I'm trying again. hope everything goes well. I feel that it's not going to happen for me. but I have faith in god and I put myself in his hands. I wish someone would cheer me up with positive stories of motivations.

Do we lose more weight in summer or winter. I live in Alabama and when it's hot it's hot and when it's cold it's freezing. Does the temp make a difference?

I have a friend that got band on November and lost alot of weight. She said that the cold temperature made band feel tighter. So i wanted to see if this was true.
