Hi! I'm 10 days out and having the same exact problem. I also stopped my loritab 2 days ago and I'm thinking I may need it again at least at night. My incision burns and just throbs. -

Is anyone having trouble drinking water? All of a sudden I want to puke every time I drink it. I add sugar free Hawaiin punch to it and I can drink it that way.

Sherry77...we had a lot of the same issues! Now that we ate 6 days out I feel so much better. The first few days were rough but it does seem to get better everyday. -
I am 3 days post op too and have the exact same thing. I can't believe you are getting down a protein shake in a little over an hour...that's awesome! It takes me all day to get one down.

Do any of u guys have to do a cross blood 2 days before surgery? I'm not doing any of my pre op testing until 2 days before since I live so far away...eek! Does anyone know what exact blood tests they do? -

My doctor only makes his patients to a liquid pre op diet the day before. Can you believe we only have 10 days left?? I am getting very anxious!!!! -

I was just wondering if you have to stop taking Vitamins before having the surgery. I called and asked the doctor's office and got two different stories.

The same thing happened to me! I eventually called 2-3 times a day. My records were just sitting on the coordinator's desk. I was beyond furious. Good luck to you! -

I know I have been obese for 3+ years but I am just worried that the insurance will say no because the BMI wasn't 35 the whole time.

Hi! I am a newbie and have some questions regarding Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal. I have gone to my first consultation, had my psych eval, and EGD. I have a 35 BMI but several comorbitities. I am waiting on my PCP to send my records to my surgeon but I am wondering if it will work because for 2 years I have bounced all over the place as far as weight goes. Does it have to be a BMI of 35 the whole 2 years?
