I just bought my stuff today. My dietician recommended a sippy cup so, I bought a cute sponge bob sippy! Haha I also bout a pillow shaped like and owl and some baby spoons and forks. Some people have been saying to get the gasx strips, do those really help?

Hi everyone! My surgery date is may 31 and it's all I can think about!! I wish it would hurry!! I know it will be worth the wait though. Ive started purchasing my clear liquids and my protein shakes and all I'd the things I will need to make this life style change possible! I am so blessed to have such an amazing family and church family! I'm hoping to get to know some of you on this forum!! God bless

Thank you for the advice! My doctor did not put me on any special diet. As a matter of fact he told me to eat everything I love before my surgery haha! I have been doing just that! I told my husband today that I was going to back off and start testing out some of the protein shakes I've bought. I am trying very hard to not let the waiting consume me!

I was worried about telling people about my surgery (may 31)! I started thinking about it and decided to tell EVERYONE!! My theory is the more people that know the more encouragement I will receive! I'm the type of person who needs to be pushed sometimes! I have had a few people ask me why I am taking such extreme measures and my response is that I've prayed over this and God has given me great peace about it! I am proud to be able to have this procedure done and I will be even more proud of my health and the body I will have afterward! Good luck to you all! God bless
