I agree with CLK, you may be pushing your new sleeve. I had to be on liquids for two weeks after surgery. Sometimes, your tummy gurgling doesnt mean hunger it means it's there's to much acid in you stomach. I take Omeprazole and that helps alot. Next time you think your hungry, sip your Water and take your pill. Good luck!

Lot of good advice on here. Bottom line, only you can decide if this is a marriage worth saving. Anyone can make a mistake, but to blame you is totally crap, and i'm pretty sure a counselor will call him out on that!

I emailed my facilatator and she recommended B12 shots. Has anyone tried that?

I understand what your going through. Down 21 lbs in 6 weeks, that's counting pre-op. Not as much as I had hoped for. But I am losing inches and things that were too tight, are now loose! I read on here, if your not getting in your Protein, and eating enough calories you wont lose as quick, so I had to make myself eat more, and get my protein in and guess what, next day I dropped a pound. Congrats on your weight loss! Sounds like your surgery went well. Sorry to hear your cat's not well. It's a hard thing to know she's on her last days. Just love her, make her comfy and remember the happy times.

I feel the same way. I'm 24days out and can't find anything to drink that taste good to me. I gave up my beloved diet coke and coffee. Tired of plain water, and all the vitamin waters taste to sweet. Bolthouse farms has some protein drinks that taste o.k. Can you drink diluted apple juice?

Did you eat something before going to bed, that may have caused you to get sick? Are you running a temp? Could you be dehydrated? If your not better later, you may want to call your Doctor. Hugs and prayers being sent your way now.

Friends should lift you up, not bring you down! Truth is this person is not your friend. It's different if he was concerned for you health, but that's not what it sounds like to me. Surround yourself with people who love and encourage you daily!

My IV site hurt for two weeks. The first IV they put in, started leaking fluids, so they moved it to a different spot on my wrist. That IV burned and became swollen and hot to the touch. Honestly, the IV hurt MORE than the surgery. After two weeks, the pain and swelling went away. I'd definitely call your Doctor. It may just take time to heal. Good luck!

I'm 19 days post-op, self pay in Mexico. I was released from the hospital after 48hrs, and spent one more night at the hotel before leaving the next AM. I was a little sore, but not really in any pain. Our flight connected in Atlanta, and I was concerned I may have to have a wheelchair, but we had lots of time, and I felt like walking through the terminal. I can't really think of anything besides a blanket and pillow that you may need. Make sure you keep all of your meds in your purse, and don't pack them in your luggage.

The only true pain I had was the first day in the hospital. After going home, i had pain from where my IV was, that last two weeks, GEESH!

I've been drinking 1/2 decaf since week one, without any issues. One cup and I'm good for a few days. Funny, I use to drink 3 or more cups of regular coffee a day.
