I use "Silk Milk" (vanilla flavor), Carnation Breakfast Essentials, and whey protein (GNC-vanilla). Taste great to me!!

I had support for the most part of all of my family and friends, except a few! But, it is your life and you are the one who has to live it. It is to make you a healthier person and in the long run, hopefully to live longer. Overall, I have had a wonderful experience so far. I just had surgery on 06/11/12. I spent 3 nights and 4 days in the hospital. One of the main reasons, was because I had a lot of nausea and vomiting. I also had an experience of vomiting up blood clots a few times, in which it scared the living heck out of me, because I had not been warned about that being a possibility. But, it will be the best decision that you could make. I am alread 15 pounds down in 9 days. GOOD LUCK!!

Hey, I use "Silk" milk which is soy-based. Then I add the Carnation Breakfast Essentials to it and the Whey protein powder (Vanilla) to get in my protein that I need. It taste great!!

Currently, I am using "Silk Milk (Vanilla)," in which I add the Carnation Breakfast Essentials & then I add a scoop of the Whey protein powder (Vanilla) from GNC. It makes a great drink and a good source of protein.

I think it is just the pre-jitters! You will be fine. My surgery is tomorrow at 12:40 p.m. I have to be at the hospital 2 hours prior. I have been a whole lot calmer, than I expected to be. But, it will probably hit me in the morning!! Keep us posted.

I think you will be fine! I am having surgery on Monday and only have to start a clear liquid diet tomorrow and do the magesium citrate drink (yuck)!! So, you have this under control.

Well, I finally got my 2nd approval letter on Saturday! Then, a surgery date for June 11, 2012, yesterday. My Pre-Op appointment is tomorrow and I have my anethesiology appointment on Friday. I am superexcited and stoked, but at the same time a little anxious. I am so ready to become a new woman.

Personally, I don't think that you are to young. It's great that you are ready to take control of your life! In my opinion, you are only prolonging your life by making yourself healthier, opening up more doors of opportunties, and getting rid of undue stress. I have done research on my own and also my regular M.D. did, who wasn't biased at all. She gave me her blessings and said that I was making one of the best decisions that I could about my life. Hey, I live 1 & 1/2 hours away from the Raleigh area. I just got my approval letter today & I hope to have surgery next month.
