I am getting banded on July 26. It is coming up in just afew days! I am bored with the liquid diet but am losing weight quickly on it. Good luck to everyone having surgery this month. -

Just Got Chosen For Surgery Today! Surgery Middle Of July.

Hi, I was chosen (1of 25 out of 76 possible) for covered surgery in Calgary. Surgery date mid July. I am so excited but also not really sure what all the steps will be. I have been doing the weight loss course online up til now and now will need to go in weekly for maintenance classes, presurgery etc. I'll sure be looking to you all to know what will happen. -
Thallium Test Tues. What Other Test Did Others Have?

I am having a Thallium Stress test Tues. to rule out angina. Dr. Thinks I have Prinzmetal's angina atype of resting angina. reg. stress test in Nov was fine but I could only walk/run the treadmill 3 1/2 min. My friend who had gastric surgery had to have a colonoscopy.Are some of these tests common? any other test I might have to have presurgery? -
